Shani’s POV

Waaah!! I’m so happy!! My Christmas wish came true and it is a good start.. for now, I’m preparing for our Birthday Race.. Lord, thanks for granting my wish.. I hope nothing would change this, because I’ll be giving my life just for this..

“My babies!! Are you ready?!” Mom shouted from downstairs.. Pati rin talaga si Mommy excited?? Hahaha..

I heard Ate Gez shouted from her room.. “Yes Mama!!”

Sabay kaming lumabas sa aming mga kwarto and nagkasalubong kami sa hallway.. nagkatinginan kaming dalawa ni Ate and we smiled at each other..

“Ate you are so beautiful!!” I complimented her.. Totoo naman kasi..

“Ikaw din Sis..” then she pinched my cheeks..

“Wanna race downstairs Sis??” then she agreed.. Hahaha..

“Woah.. Slow down ladies!!” sigaw ni Daddy.. Hahaha..

“Hahaha.. hayaan mo na sila Sweety..” sumbat naman ni Mom.. sabay yakap sa aming dalawa..

“so let’s go??”

“YES!!” sigaw namin ni Ate.. (^o^)

Gezia’s POV

Nasa racing proper na kami.. The last time I went here was really a bad time, yung hate na hate ko pa ang kambal ko.. But now?? It change, because I also want to change..

“Gez, nag iba ka na talaga..” sabi ng mga gangmates ko nung malapitan nila ako..

“Thank her for that..” I pointed at my twin who is now hugging Alex..

“Hindi ka ba nagseselos sa kanila??”

“Matagal na akong nakalimot, besides first love never dies..” medyo nalungkot ako sa fact nay un..

“Ano ba Gez, matagal nay un, move ka na..”

“siguro nga..” I sighed, I’m here to have some fun and enjoy the day with my sister..

“All racers please ready yourselves.. The race will start in 5 minutes.. I repeat, All racers please ready yourselves.. The race will start in 5 minutes..”

“ATEEE!! HALIKA NAAA!!” ayan na naman ung sigaw ng aking kapatid..

“oh, see you later guys..” I wave at them while running towards my car.. “OO BABY SIS, I’M GOING!!”

Ang gamit kong car ay Black Lamborghini with a hint of Violet, while my sister’s car is  a Gray Porsche Gallardo with a highlight of pink..

Sumakay na kaming dalawa.. may speaker sa loob ng sasakyan naming kaya pwede kaming mag usap through that..

“sis, ready na ako.. over..” sabi ko sa linya.

“Yeah me too Ate Beautiful.. over..”

Nambola pa talaga ang baby sis ko.. hahaha..

Nagsignal na ung girl dun sa harap ng starting line.. Itinaas niya yung checkered na flag, that means ready your engines.. Saka niya ibinaba ang flag kasabay ng pagputok ng piston..

We really are driving smoothly pero mabilis kasi nga di ba race ito.. pero may hindi ako maipaliwanag na feeling kanina pa.. Hindi ko lang maitukoy kung ano ito..

I voice out to my sis, “Sis okay ka lang ba dyan.. over”

“Uhm Yeah Sis.. I’m having fun..”

Pero bakit hindi convincing yung sagot niya?? I shook off that feeling, and focus on the race.. maybe negative vibes lang ito.. think positive Gezia.. think positive..

Pinaharurot nI Shani ung car niya, and I think that is the fastest kmph I ever saw.. binilisan ko din para macatch up siya.. and there I saw it..

“SHANI YOU STOP THE CAR RIGHT NOW!! I REPEAT, STOP THE CAR!!” I shouted frabtically over the radio..

“ate, ayaw ng brakes ko..”

Napamura ako.. binilisan ko pa ang takbo ko para ako ang pumigil sa sasakyan niya.. Kaso, I didn’t know that those words would strike like daggers..

“Ate Gezia… Happy Birthday..”

3 chapters to go and WTRPAEPU will end na.. Thanks sa mga sumubaybay sa story na ito.. Kahit alam kong puro kayo silent readers.. I hope there will come a time na may mga magcocomment din sa story na ito.. I don’t do book 2 kaya sa mga may gusto ng book 2 (if ever meron man) convince me, baka magkaroon nga.. give reason para makita ko kung deserving ban g story na ito ng book 2..
