The Vanguard was the first to hear my story, most of it at least.
I was brought in front of Zavala, Ikora, clan and order leaders in a meeting hall.
They heard my story and then began to question me. I left out the part about my cursed gun and that I kept a Thorn.

One of the order stood up and barked at me. Yelling about seeing a vision about me.
Zavala actually took my side, claiming that I was innocent and just caught in the crossfire. It stung knowing I was the reason for the fire.
Ikora, was hesitant at first but was persuaded by Zavala.

I was free to go.

I went to the Bazaar and met with Claud. He heard the full story.
Ajisai, I didnt tell her. I don't want her in danger because of me.

So after meeting with Claud, there was on last table unturned.

I went back to Titan, back for my guns and that weapon.

I ventured through the Domed environment and found the path that lead me into birthing chamber.

I paused and glanced and looked at the spot I left Esher. No corpse and no ghost shell.
I retraced my steps and found the rotting bodies of the former guardians.

Left

I held the Thorn tight in my grip and turned the corner, 2 bodies.

Right

More bodies, these had Hive mold on them.

The hunter and his underlings

I stepped over the corpses and looked over the area.

On your left

I looked towards the left and saw a door hidden by crates from the golden age.

I pushed the metal door open to find my weapons and something else.

Esher panted leaning against a wall, holding a Thorn up and aiming at me.

She was alive for three days.

Impressive

She pulled the trigger but nothing came out. She spammed the trigger and threw the weapon at me.

I grabbed my sword, rifle, and shotgun without even giving her a second glance.

She pointed that pistol at me and tried to shoot me with it.

"Why can't you die?" She dropped the gun and collapsed onto her knees

"I refuse to die." I kneeled in front of her and took the pistol,

"Why did you leave me here?" She glanced at me then away

"I left you to here because killing you is too easy. I still want to, but you're out of ammo. I might as well let the Hive in." I removed my helmet and took a long breath of air.

"Sage." She took a deep breath and giggled to herself "there are more of us. And when they hear what you did. When they see, what you did. There will be no escaping. No running." She looked up at me with those green eyes

I placed the barrel of the pistol to her head. I felt the gun grow heavier and its aura change. It was alive and held a round. "I don't plan on running, I plan on fighting every single shadow I meet. You win" I smiled softly and pulled the trigger. The enchanted bullet pulled her light immediately.

No more words.

I turned around to see thrall swarming outside the room. I took a step forward and they backed away.
The gun still rich with Taken aura, pushed them away.
I held it up and they cleared a path. None lashed out, they only watched the weapon with great interest.

I walked out the same path I entered.

Ajisai was outside waiting for me

"I told you not to follow me" I spoke softly but firm

"Who are you?" She asked gently and almost afraid

"What do you mean?" I glanced up at her

"Sage is a sarcastic asshole. But at least he talks to me. So I have to ask, who are you?" She pointed her rifle at my head

I froze.

Her eyes widened under visor and she pulled the trigger.

I don't freeze.

The bullet grazed my shoulder pad.

She never misses.

"I'm going to ask you again. Sage walks through hell and back with a smile!" she growled and switched to her handcannon, putting it to my head

"Love. If I tell you anything of what happened. The people that took me will take you." I turned to face her and pushed the gun away from me "I'm sorry I've been distant..."

"Vague ain't fixing it!" She growled and cocked her handcannon

"Before I continue. karma." A weak smirk came onto my face

"Karma?" She tilted her head still pushing the barrel against my temple

"Yeah, Karma. I'm used to you being gone and in trouble. Yet the second I go missing you were following my trail" he removed my helmet and stared at her gently. The smirk grew lightly

There was a paused. She put the gun down but then immediately slapped me

I chuckled and glanced up at her "better?" A full smirk on my face now

"You... I'm going to....." she punched me square in the face and all I could do was smile.

"You're the only reason I'm here. The thought of you keep me sane." I spat blood out and dropped my guns and held out my arms

She punched me in the ribs and blushed under her helmet. "Shut up..."

I smiled and wrapped my arms around her, hugging her tightly.

She continued to punch me, for a while before she slowed down and eventually stopped. "Asshole"

"Ow." I chuckled lightly and rolled my eyes with a soft smile

She gave into the hug and leaned into it. "I hate you"

"I love you" I picked her up and grabbed my helmet

"Sage. If you're going to be distant.... just promise to comeback."

"I'm always going to comeback to you." I smiled gently and tapped her helmet with mine

"And if something bad doesn't happen to me... don't take it out on yourself. I've been on my own before. I'll survive on my own before and I can again." She said firmly and hopped out of my arms

"Well then, take this for emergencies" I paused and pulled out the Thorn.

I could feel her eyes widen as she looked between the weapon and me "Sage... where did you get that?"

"Take it. Hide it, but always keep it with you." I replied softly and handed it to her

She held the weapon and examined it before putting it away. "That wasn't an answer..."

"You're not getting one..." I took a long and slow breath

You are smart

"Don't listen to the voices, it'll will drive you insane..."

Sorrows road

"Sorrows road... I've heard of it." Ajisai nodded slowly and sucker punched me

This one caught me off guard. After I picked myself up and fixed my jaw we went back to the tower. And spent the night together.

It was a peaceful night. One of the last I would have in a long time.
