** Hoseok's POV **
** A couple of days ago **

Early that morning, I woke up about seven o'clock to start my day. But want to start by clearing it, due to the fact I want to know more about Namjoon and Jinyoung new intention towards my older sister. Calling for my servants and Jimin, I rolled out of bed.

After getting washed up and dress, I headed towards the throne room first to talk to the parents. "Are you sure you want to clear your schedule my lord? You have a busy day and Mia made take what you miss?" Jimin asked out of concern.

"Mia and I do this to each other all the time. She made me take her schedule like last month because of the boys. She wouldn't mind doing these meetings for me. Besides, I want to talk to them more. Don't worry Jimin, things will be okay"

As we were walking, I bumped into Yoongi by accident. "Oof— sorry about that" I said. Yoongi turns around and immediately said that he should be the one that's apologizing. So, he kept bowing.

Shaking my head, telling him that not everything is their fault if I did it first. Smiling, we walked off until I heard Jin's voice in the background... talking to Yoongi. I decided to hid behind a pillar to snoop. Telling my servants to wait a moment.

"What's on the agenda today Yoongs? Will the princess have time to be with her nobles?" Jin said as he fixes his clothes.

"No, she will be busy. That's a good sign as Mia needed a good rest away from them. Those two have been snuggling her for days. Fighting back and forth, especially Namjoon. He has changed somehow"

Jimin tugged on my shirt as he stated that they need to go if I want this day off. I wanted to stay and listen some more. Then I also needed this request... so, off to the room. Once we stepped in, the parents were discussing business with the other servant in the palace.

Walking up to them, everyone greeted me with respect. "Good morning my handsome son. What brings you to the throne room early this morning?" the queen asked.

I kept my eyes down and explained what I wanted. The parents looked at me with confusion but understood as they gave Mia a break last time. They agreed to the request and sent me off. Smiling a bright smile, I walk out of the room.

Telling Jimin to fetch Jinyoung first and met me at the dining hall. Nodding to the request, he did want he was told. When arriving, the food was already made and set for me. I began to eat.

A few moments later, Jinyoung and Jimin enter the room. Jinyoung looks like he was about to die of exhaustion. "Good morning, my lord" he bowed then sat down.

"Good morning, lord Jinyoung"

A plate was set in front of Jinyoung, he kindly accepted the offer and started to eat. He asked me of why he was there. "I wanted to take a moment and talk to you about Mia" he answered.

Jinyoung paused his movements saying if there was something wrong with her. But I reassured him that everything was fine and just wanted to more how he feels about her. "Mia is the love of my life, you know that. I had a crush on her since we were little. The more I am with her the more she reminds me that I was stupid for leaving the kingdom. She makes me feel like I can do anything in the world"

Interesting, but that is the same line he always uses when speaking about Mia. I wanted more than that. I wanted something to say he deserves to be with my sister. Mia gets to choose the guy, but if I say something about each of these nobles, then it may change her mind about them.

"Tell me your intentions with my sister Jinyoung. What do you want from her and in vice versa?"

"To love and help rule the kingdom with her. Mia deserves to be treated like a queen that she is. With Namjoon she is not going to get that, I'm the only one that can provide her the leverage she needs in order to keep the kingdom going. All I want from her is to stay by my side like always. Mia needs someone that she depends on"

Taking bites in between the conversation, I really thought about what he said. Does she really needs someone to depend on or does she needs someone to love her. Mia is a strong person, sometimes she had break downs but gets right back up and show people what she got.

Her as the queen can change this kingdom to better, maybe erase the past with her tactics. I thought about my sister needed someone who can be there for her and can show her the beauty of love and loyalty. That's something Jinyoung don't actually have. Of course, he loves her but can keep that love flowing the way Mia wants.

Continuing breakfast, once done, we decided to go on a walk in the garden. "The rare blue roses from the city of Seoul... Mia's favorite of all time" I said as I picks up one.

"I remember I brought that rose for her when we were like seven. I thought it was very pretty... so I gave her a brunch. Her eyes have never shine like that" Jinyoung said.

"Mia is always grateful for what you gave her, no matter what it is. I remember giving her a picture of a weird looking house thing for her sixth birthday. I knew she was going to hate it but she got it blown up and hung it in her room. Still there to this day"

I freaking adore my big sister, if she is not happy then I'm not happy. That's why picking the right husband for her means everything to me. I don't mean to be harsh to others but to protect my sister. So hearing what Jinyoung said makes me worry a little.

______________

The afternoon strikes, Jinyoung had something to do. He bowed to me and left the garden. Ordering Jimin to bring Namjoon in for a talk. Sitting at the patio, the noble arrived looking bright as ever. "Good afternoon, your majesty" he bowed and sat down.

"Lord Namjoon, how was your morning?"

"Pretty good, got to see Mia for a bit. So my day has started off great. Why was I requested to see you, my lord? Is something wrong?" he asked.

My eyes flicker as I stared at Namjoon. You can see that glowing light around him, you can tell that he is a good mood. Clearing the throat, I said, "Nothing bad my lord as I wanted to know about how you feel about Mia since our recent talk. Have you come with the words to describe her yet?"

"I thought about that for a while, it's not the words you want to hear but it's coming from my inner heart. Your sister has the qualities that I admire. She is humble, trustworthy, hardworking, and very quirky in some ways. But she is also an overthinker, she is overprotective and very fierce with certain things. The feeling I have for her is something I can not explain. It more than I got to show really. I can tell you that I love her or tell you other things... but I can't"

Oh shit, I was impressed about what he had to say. It was something different from what Jinyoung said. When you truly care for someone, then it's hard to say how you feel because words can't express that feeling. I understood where he was coming from with that.

"Actions speak louder than words, I like that. Namjoon I have you pinned wrong as you convince me with something. I can't tell you want it is but you made me think about something. Mia is someone I care deeply has she practically rise me in this palace. Every time she goes away, I wanted to follow her. As you said, words cannot explain my love towards my older sister. But her happiness makes me happy... Mia deserves to be on that throne with someone she can truly trust. That someone maybe you"

His head shot up when he heard those words. I couldn't believe what I told him. But it was true, Namjoon can protect and care  for Mia. Not only that but can help run this kingdom for the better. His body language at first threw me off but now I can see something different.

He had this charm that Jinyoung doesn't have and he looks passion about what he wants. I hope that I am not wrong about him at the end. Let's just wait and see...
