Yoongi sighed as he locked his phone for the thirteenth time this morning. It had only been an hour and Namjoon was still counting.

No one received messages or anything related to Seokjin at all from Min-Jae who said he would inform them if they found anything. The lack of communication about the case only meant that they were still at the bottom of the game Red was playing.

It was almost a week and the stress was getting the better of them. Red haven't called again to inform about how the ransom payment will work.

They were depending on the police and FBI to find Seokjin along with the criminals who took him more than the ransom. It was how things would normally work unlike in movies where the friends would jump into action and rescue their friend. Real life didn't work like that. It wasn't easy. All they could do is wait. It was the hardest part. It was torture to just sit around knowing that Seokjin was all on his own.

No one was able to drift into the land of dreams other than Jimin and Taehyung who cried themselves to sleep around 6 in the morning with the help of Yoongi who was now curled up on the couch which dipped when Namjoon sat on it. Yoongi wondered why his dongseang who was sitting on the other couch changed his seat.

Namjoon rubbed his hands together as he looked at his hyung's face. The dark circles under Yoongi's eyes were becoming more visible every day, it was worrying Namjoon that none of them was getting enough sleep or even food.

No one ever told the leader of the group to get prepared for such a thing to happen, no one ever expected this. Yes, they were followed by sasangs a lot but this is more than being followed around or strangers sticking to them at the airport.

Before Namjoon could open his mouth to speak, Yoongi beat him to it "How...are we going to find him? Hyung is suffering alone right now and there is nothing we can do to help, nothing...there is no clue at all. His whereabouts remain a secret from us...there is no guarantee that whoever worked with that detective will find him or that he will be returned to us after paying the ransom. What should we do?" Yoongi asked slowly. His voice was calm unlike his dark eyes which stayed fixed on the ground, not meeting Namjoon's tired ones as he rubbed his forehead that had not stopped aching since the day before. He was the one comforting his dongsaengs the other day but his demons were starting to get stronger as the days continued to pass without his only hyung with them. Sleeping and waking up alone wasn't something Yoongi was used to.

"I don't know...but they want money, right? They...won't harm him" Namjoon was unsure of his words. He didn't know about these people's personalities or behavior but he hoped that Red Would keep his promise "And if it's really about money, then they should be contacting someone from the company or us soon. Remember that staying strong for hyung is one way we can help. You said it yourself. You told hyung to stay strong so we all should do. Jin hyung can't be the only one fighting while we just give in" He looked at Yoongi, hoping that his words are somehow helpful. He needed to bring the all five souls back on their feet one by one if he wanted to prevent them from fully breaking down.

"Believe me, we will find Seokjin Hyung" Namjoon's words sounded confident to Yoongi's ears. He had never lied to any of them if it wasn't for a good reason so the oldest couldn't help but wonder "How can you be so sure?"

"Nothing lasts forever and hyung will come back. It's just...what I started to believe as I kept on thinking. I know all of this is messed up and it's effecting all of us but...Jin hyung will need us when he returns as much as we will so just like I said, try to think positively. We need to stay strong" and hope for the best, Namjoon wanted to say that but it didn't sound right although it was the only thing other than waiting that they could do. He squeezed Yoongi's shoulder in what he hoped the older would take as reassurance.
