"I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do to help. There were witnesses. It's out of my hands I'm afraid" I sit there, completely blank to what's going on around me. I can't believe what I had done. Was that me? I did that, and now I'm paying the price. Paying the price for doing what I did. For what I had caused. What took place, that night. All I do is nod. Nod, even though I can't hear a single word being uttered to me. "Blythe, are you listening? Blythe" I'm taken out of my trance as my mind takes its time to focus on reality.

"Y-yes. I'm listening I can hear you" I tell my lawyer blankly. He sighs and nods his head while rubbing his eyes.

"It's best if you... you know..." I nod mindlessly.

"Yeah, I know. I will" and that was the day. The day, I changed.
