"Wow, I didn't expect that" Liam responds in disbelief.
"Tell me about it" I reply while swinging my arms as I walk. It's the end of school and Liam decided to walk me home. I told him why me and Reagan had a falling out. I explained everything to him about Leith and Reagan.
"It's alright. You and Reagan sound like really good friends, So you'll overcome this." he tells me sincerely as he connects out hands. I smile up at him and swing our hands back and forth.
"We are. I just hope this doesn't distance us" I say while looking down. He stops and I stop too. I look at him and he steps closer.
"If you don't want this to distance you both, why don't you just tell her you're alright with it. You are alright with it, aren't you?" He asks me as he separates our hands and then rest both of his on my waist pulling me closer. I sigh and look directly to his chest. I play with his hoodie strand, curling it around my finger.
"Of course I approve. At heart I do, but I just want to... it's going to sound stupid." I say looking down I stop my action and lay my hands flat on his chest. He grabs them both and holds them. I look up and our eyes lock. He gives me an encouraging smile indicating that he's here.
"Just say it" He tells me as he steps backwards, leaning against the park gates with me leaning on his front. Our hands still locked together, feeling the warmth radiating from them.
"I wanted to punish them in some way. When I found out, by myself, I felt hurt and betrayed. Like they didn't trust me enough to tell me about this secret relationship. I hated the fact that Leith didn't tell me. We promised no secrets. And now, he keeps this big one from me." I explain myself and he nods.
"I understand where you're coming from. A bond like yours and Leith's is important." He cups my cheek as he rubs his thumb against my skin causing a tingly sensation. My stomach flutters and my heart beat accelerates. He seems all touchy touchy today- not that I'm complaining. I like it.
"Exactly. Just seeing the hurt on Ray's face was hard. But, I had to do this. I had to tell her I wasn't okay with it." He nods, wraps both arms around me while pulling me flush against his chest and tightens his hold. I look up and smile at him. My hand has a mind of its own as they move to his cheek. I trial my finger down his jawline and feel the small stubbles on his face. He closes his eyes and I smile as he leans into my touch. I go on my tiptoes and place a small kiss to his lips. He reciprocates the action and pulls me closer to him. One of his hands move to my cheek as he caresses my skin igniting a trail of fire and heat to build up. His hand goes down to the back of my neck and grips my nape and pulls my mouth even closer. It's passionate and slow but turns rough in a split second. We pull apart for a breather as we stare in each other's eyes.
"God, this feeling will never go" he mutters with his forehead resting against mine.
"Yeah" I respond breathlessly. He pulls away and connects our hands once again and we begin to walk towards the direction of my house which isn't too far, just around the corner. Soon, we're stood outside my house and I don't want to let go of his hand. He pulls me to him, completely taking me off guard and smirks down at me. I stumble a little which causes him to grip onto me much tighter.
"I would like to take you out on a date tomorrow. How about it?" I stare at him shocked. I never expected to go on a date this fast. Maybe, he is serious about us. I quickly compose myself realising I haven't answered his question and reply back with a simple answer.
"I would love to" he smiles widely and wraps his arms around me. I rest my head on his chest, feeling his heartbeat. I feel his lips on my temple before he lets me go.
