I awoke that night to whispers in my ear and when I opened my eyes a saw a woman standing by the door to our room. She beckoned to me and I was about to wake Blake up but she lifted a finger to her lips. I grabbed my salt pouch just to be sure and I followed her.

The first rule Blake and I had learned was to not trust the supernatural but sometimes spirits have is helpful information, so perhaps this spirit was trying to get help because some how the dead know if someone's a hunter or not. She flickered and suddenly was on the highway and beckoned to me again.

I took two steps forward when she disappeared and I hurried over to the and into the woods. She was leaning against the tree and whispered to me. "What? I can't understand you!" I called to her.

She whispered again and when I shook my head she flickered again and was right next to me, I jumped because I didn't expect her to be that . She reached to me and I flinched as she put her clod ghostly hands on my chest and pulled my back as she leaned in and whispered in my ear.

Right when her words started coming through as actual words I heard my name being called from far away.

I snapped my eyes open and shot up causing Blake to jump back. "Finally Janice, I swear a train could have smashed through here and you still wouldn't wake up." Blake exaggerated.

"Blake was there a woman dressed in an old fashioned plain white dress in here last night?" I asked him.

"No, never seen anyone like that, I'll be sure to let you know if I see one, if it's a hot babe I'll be getting her number first." He said and I threw my pillow at him. "Oh come on! I'm only kidding!" He called as I made my way to the shower.

After my shower as I was towel drying my hair in front of the mirror I saw the woman from my dream appear behind me. She lifted a finger to her lips like in the dream. "Yeah I know quiet, and don't do that whispering shit again, I couldn't understand me until you were in my ear, and don't appear in the bathroom while I'm naked!" I whispered angrily to her.

She got up to my ear like in the dream and whispered in my ear, what she said turned my blood to ice. "Blood...blood everywhere... mother of you gone..." I spun around with a pinch of salt between my fingers and threw it at her and she let out a screech as it burned her and she turned to whispy smoke and faded away.

I quickly got dressed and grabbed my phone. "Janice!" Blake demanded, I ignored him. "Janice! Janice what has gotten into you?!" He demanded again as I frantically dialed and refilled all of moms numbers and started pacing with each unanswered call.

"Janice!" Blake yelled as he finally grabbed my wrist and turned me around.

"Let go!" I yelled. "I don't know how to explain it but a ghost appeared in my dream and before she could give me her message you woke me up! She appeared to me in the bathroom and said "Blood, blood everywhere, mother of you gone..." I said as I tried redialing my moms house phone but got nothing but an out of order sound.

"Janice you know just as well as I do that the word of the dead isn't true in most cases, for all you know your mind was playing tricks on you." Blake told me.

I was breathing quickly with fear and was in the verge of hyperventilating when Blake grasped my shoulders and squeezed them lightly as he gently shook my to get me to focus on him. "Calm down Janice, I'm sure moms just sleeping and that she forgot to pay the phone bill." Blake said. I shook my head and calmed down as Blake hugged me close.

"Ready to go get something to eat and head out?" Blake said. I shook my head and we headed back to the bar that we ate at last night.

I walked in the door and ran into somebody again. "Sorry, I didn't mean to do that!" He said quickly, he looked at me and realized that he had also ran into me last night.
