Description: Houdini is a cat shifter, the last of his dying breed. His parents died to protect him but he was taken in by a witch.
Alice was a young woman with trouble in school, she graduates soon but she has no friends. Her relationship with her mother is nonexistent as her mother is cold and distant. Her father is the closest thing she's had to a best friend.
When Houdini appears in an alley, the one Alice uses every night on her way home from work, he couldn't help but feel the need to be there.
When Alice takes Houdini in she must hide the black and white cat from her mother, the task gets harder when Houdini reveals what he is.
Will these two manage to find an ancient and powerful relic after being sent after it by Alice's mother? Or will they fail and will Houdini fail to keep his kind alive or will he die and make the cat shifter extinct?
A lost relic, a secret lineage and a shapeshifter with the weight of being the last of a species, things will go well right? Or will they not?
