I gasped as I sucked in breath, a machine began beeping and I heard someone leap to their feet. "Cox!" I heard Courtney cry out. I tried to speak but it only came out as a moan, damnit. Courtney seemed to catch on to my predicament as she grabbed paper and a pencil. "What happened?" Courtney asked.
I wrote down: attacked overpowered shoot it was the best I could do as my body was still coming around. "Well, we know about the shooting part." Courtney said. I shook my head before writing again: overpowered shoot I looked up at her, hoping she would understand.
"Well then why was there a shotgun in your kitchen?" Courtney asked. Spirit was my answer. "Well, I'm letting you know now, none of this looks good Cox, that girl you brought home? She's dead, there were obvious signs of a struggle, not to mention you are the last one who was seen with the victim and she's in your place, she was shot with your gun." Courtney told me.
I groaned as I held my side. "Holy fuck..." Someone said. I jumped, the motion causing pain to radiate throughout my body.
"Great..." I managed to wheeze out.
