Jin: "Yah! Who do you think I am??" the oldest screamed at him.

They all laughed at the interaction between Hoseok and Jin, but the smiles quickly faded thinking about the situation at hand. A long silence followed. Until someone said....

"I will do it"

They all turned to the voice that uttered those words. They looked at each other before facing the boy.

Taehyung: "Hyung, are you sure?" he asked with a hint of curiosity and admiration in his voice.

"Yes, I'm sure. I will do it; I'll be her first" Namjoon replied.

NAMJOON'S POV

"I'll be her first". Did I really just say that? I'm not going to pretend that I'm not slightly intimidated. Actually, scratch that: I'm dead scared. When I considered being friends with benefits with Na-Ri, I never anticipated this turn of event. And now, I volunteered to "pave the way"... She's willing, so I shouldn't feel bad, right?

I want to make it special for her, even though we're not in that kind of relationship. I want it to be memorable, I want to make her comfortable.

It can't happen at the dorm; that's for sure. I can't take her out for a meal in some restaurant or take her to the movies for obvious reasons. Actually, Na-Ri and I have the same taste when it comes to movies; we both wanted to go see Avengers: End Game but there's no way we can make it happen. Should I cook her dinner once she's in her new apartment? I might end up burning the whole apartment complex down though... What if I ask Jin to teach me how to make something simple? She's not the type of girl who likes fancy places and pricey restaurants. She's definitely not an expensive girl... I think she will like something simple but coming from the heart. Wait... why am I talking as if I'm trying to impress a girlfriend? This is so hard, because I don't want to cross that line.

That's it, I'll ask Jin to teach me how to cook an easy meal for her. I know she's not into alcohol, but she does like white wine, so I'll get a nice bottle and when it comes to dessert, I'll buy her favourite cake; a Black Forest; there's no way I can bake a cake.

- After dinner

They sat comfortably on the sofa watching a K-drama on Netflix. The evening had that light atmosphere; they enjoyed each other's company.

Namjoon: "So tell me, who's your favourite South Korean actor?"

Na-Ri: "Hmmm.... Kim Ji-Soo?"

Namjoon stiffened at the name. Kim Ji-Soo?

Na-Ri: "But I have a soft spot for Aaron Yan." she carried on saying, interrupting Namjoon's thoughts.

Namjoon: "Aaron Yan? Who is he? That's not a South Korean name."

Na-Ri: "He's not Korean; he's Taiwanese. He's a seriously good actor and the way he conveys emotions is out of this world, plus he is probably to best on-screen kisser in Asian cinema" she said with a mischievous grin.

Namjoon nearly spat out his wine upon hearing Na-Ri's statement. He looked at her with wide incredulous eyes and a slight smirk that translated "I can't believe she just said that".

Namjoon: "How can you praise another guy's kissing skills when one is in the same room as you? That's so cold!" he said pretending to be hurt with his hand on his heart.

Na-Ri: "Well, I haven't witnessed your kissing skills yet!" she said laughing heartily until she realised what she said.

Their eyes locked on each other. Beside the background noise of Netflix, nothing else could be heard. Maybe their breathing. Namjoon could hear his heart beat resonating in his ear drums. Na-Ri could feel heat rising in her cheeks and ears.
