"Hey, Na-Ri, come and follow me!"

He took her hand and started to speed walk toward the center of the plane with Na-Ri following closely behind, wondering what was going on. They reached the Sky Club bar, a place Na-Ri never bothered going to.

When flying with Bangtan, it was whether they were on a private plane or they were in Business Class, but she never went to the bar as the drinks came to them, and not the other way around.

"You need a drink," Ji-Soo said with a sincere smile. This guy was so tall; he had to bend down to be eye level with her. But she, being a midget, anyone, including Jimin, would have to bend down to her level, so it didn't faze her anymore.

"Come on, tell me what you want to drink; it's on me!" he said with a proud stance.

"I'm not much of a drinker, really..." she said while waving her hands at him.

"Ah come on; just one. We are not getting drunk, especially on the plane. Just one drink to relax" he tried reassuring her.

Na-Ri: "Ok then..." admitting defeat.

Ji-Soo: "Great! So what will you have?"

Na-Ri: "Sex on the beach, please," she said with a genuine smile.

Ji-Soo froze as the words left her lips and opened his eyes wide, looking at the woman standing in front of him.

Ji-Soo: "W-what?" his word coming out as a whisper.

Na-Ri: "THE DRINK!!! THAT'S WHAT THE DRINK'S CALLED!! Oh my god, I'm sorry! I'm- Ahhhhh this is so embarrassing!!!"

After a short pause and after releasing a breath he was holding in, he started to chuckle, and then laugh earnestly.

"Na-Ri, relax, it's ok. I do like that drink too. Let's both have Sex on the beach then" he said with a wink; he was definitely reveling in the double meaning of that sentence.

Ji-Soo, calm down you're not joining the Mile-High Club today. Don't make her uncomfortable.

She turned into a shade a red she didn't know existed. She felt awfully hot although the AC was on full blast.

Is my crush flirting with me right now??

After this fairly embarrassing episode, they sat down at the bar, sipping on their drink, chit-chatting, until she interrupted and said:

Na-Ri: "Actually I just remembered something! Are you here to celebrate the success of your drama?"

Ji-Soo: "Yes, how do you know that?" he asked with furrowed eyebrows

Na-Ri: "Some friends of mine told me that a party was taking place later this week for this occasion and I'm invited to it."

Ji-Soo: "Really?? Oh wow, what a coincidence; what are the chances?" he giggled

Na-Ri: "I know, right?!"

Ji-Soo: "By the way, who are your friends?"

Na-Ri: "Oh, it's Lisa and Jennie"

Ji-Soo: "Ah yes, the BlackPink girls; they're really nice. But are you in the industry too, because only idols and actors will be there?"

Na-Ri: "Me? Ah no no no. I work for.... an entertainment agency; that's how I met the girls". She didn't want to reveal too much. She didn't need legal documents binding her to secrecy to understand that some things are better left unsaid. Her bosses were only the most popular K-POP boys on the planet. No big deal.

Her answer was to the point yet vague. She did not disclose the name of the company and that led him to think that she probably had a non-disclosure agreement. He appreciated her discretion and therefore didn't push it any further when it came to her job.

They went back to their seats and carried on chatting like old friends.

She told him about how it's like back in her home country, how she got to move to Seoul, what her previous jobs were, her favorite color, her favorite food, her pet peeves and so on. He did the same; he was happy to have a conversation with a "normal" person who was not asking for an autograph or trying to take a picture of/with him. He was longing for normalcy and she was giving him a taste of what it's like. She was down to earth.

He wanted to be her friend. Would she let him?

--------------------------------------------------

They both took another nap on the last leg of the journey. This long haul was coming to an end.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we will be arriving shortly at JFK Int'l. Please return to your seats, fasten your seat belts and keep your seats in the upright position. Put away your electronic devices. Local time is 12.30pm, the temperature is 20 degrees. We hope you've enjoyed your flight and on behalf of Captain Ahn Myn Hyuk, thank you for flying with Korean Air."

Na-Ri: "Finallyyyyyy! My backside is numb!" she sighed. Ji-Soo looked at her and chuckled at her heartfelt comment. He leaned toward her and said, "Oh come on, we didn't have it so bad in Business Class" before winking at her.

Those winks though....

Ji-Soo wanted to see her again or keep in touch somehow. He knew he'd see her again at the party, but he didn't want to ask her for her number at the penthouse; he wanted to do it away from prying eyes. You never know who is watching.

He couldn't explain the pull she was exerting on him. She was simple, real and that attracted him. She was working in the entertainment industry whatever her job was; how did she manage to remain so grounded?

It was now or never as he won't be able to ask once they land.

Ji-Soo: "Well, I'm glad I'll get to see you again outside of this plane," he said shyly, a shade of pink making an appearance on his ridiculously gorgeous face.

She smiled shyly at his comment, tucking a strand of hair, behind her ear.

"Before we leave, could I get your number?"
