"Because I almost slept with her."

Kim Han-Seul's eyes widened at his son's confession. It wasn't his fault; he didn't know of their connection. But he still felt taken aback as any father would.
Kim Han-Seul: "Y-You almost what?"
Taehyung: "I almost slept with her, but it didn't happen. When I found out that she was my sister, I felt physically sick. I hated myself." he uttered in a barely audible voice.
Kim Han-Seul tried to comfort his son, while trying to block out this new piece of information and said: "Don't blame yourself, you did not know. Be grateful it didn't happen. Make sure you tell her sooner than later."
Be grateful it didn't happen. But what if I wanted it to happen? This is how sick and twisted he felt and this is why taking this first step in revealing Na-Ri's existence to his father was going to help him. She would be even more off-limits.
Taehyung and his father parted ways shortly after that, Taehyung making his way back to the dorm.
Kim Han-Seul could not believe his daughter was in the same country as him at that very moment. He smiled to himself.
"I hope she will want to meet me at some stage..." he mumbled pensively.
Besides the fact that he was ecstatic to meet his daughter again, something else occupied his mind.
KHS Pharmaceuticals.
It was the tacit rule that the oldest child or only child was to take over once the director was to retire. Taehyung had no interest in the business, but now, his oldest child, Na-Ri, had entered the picture. She might have been from a previous relationship but she was still a Kim. This was another reason why he made sure that she should take his surname. If anything was to happen and she eventually found him, she would be able to claim what's hers. And that time was now. But would she want it?
Na-Ri had no idea she was now the heiress of a multibillion KR Won conglomerate, whether she wanted the director's seat or not.
She literally went from rags to riches in a matter of seconds.

The dorm, Taehyung's room
Taehyung was back in the dorm and deep in thoughts in his room. His mind raced back to the conversation he had with his father not so long ago. He could not even hate him anymore for keeping this a secret; he had good reasons. There was one question however he wished he had asked: Did he ever love his mom? He remembers a happy childhood with his parents, but was his dad truly happy with them since he was forced to abandon the child and the woman he deeply loved?
Then his mind wandered to Na-Ri, the woman he had to see as an older sister but was struggling to do so. He was sat on his bed, head resting against the headboard, eyes closed. He heard a soft knock on his door and called for the person to come in. It was Hoseok.
Taehyung sat up properly and shot a weak smile to his Hyung. Hoseok let himself in and pulled a chair up to the younger male's bed and sat down, facing him. He had a compassionate gaze, and his face betrayed his emotions.
"What is it, Hyung?" Taehyung asked, confused by his hyung's expression. Hoseok took a long hard look at Taehyung and said:
"You need to tell her. It's now or never."
