Today, Bangtan and team are flying back home, and Na-Ri is joining them. They are flying on a private plane which allows her to sit with the boys without worrying about prying eyes.
Jin: "So Na-Ri, did you enjoy the party you went to?"
Na-Ri: "Yes I did! It was nice to have a girls night out. It's been a while."
Manager Sejin: "And she came back when I told her to, unlike some people who don't listen to what the agency says." His comment was specifically directed at Jin who was known for not listening to the staff or even the management. Jin rolled his eyes at least 10 times at Manager Sejin. BigHit was known as JinHit because of his behavior.
Taehyung: "Girls night out? You mean to say that there were no boys around?"
Na-Ri: "No, that's not what I meant. I meant that I was out with Lisa and Jennie and it was nice to catch up; it's been a while. I don't get many opportunities to see the few friends I have so that that was nice."
For a moment, the boys felt bad after hearing Na-Ri's comment. It was because of them after all that she had no time left. The job was time-consuming.
Namjoon: "Na-Ri, do you ever regret joining BigHit? I mean, your life would be different, you'd have more time and more friends..."
Na-Ri: "I have no regrets! I am playing my small part in writing Bangtan's history; this is big!!! I wouldn't trade this for anything! I have you, guys." she said with a genuine smile.
They all suddenly felt more relaxed seeing that she was happy being with them. They were happy being with her. Not because of the fact that they were friends with benefits, but because she was a foreigner who had no family left, who tried her hardest to learn a language as difficult as Korean and had made Seoul her home. They could only have love for this girl. She was precious and was theirs to protect.
Na-Ri sat on her own on a window seat. They would arrive in Korea the next day. Although her mind was looking at the clouds, her mind went back to the penthouse party and Ji-Soo's confession. That was until Namjoon came to sit next to her. She turned to look at him, and they gave each other a smile. He kissed her forehead, and she rests her head on his chest.
"What is in this beautiful mind of yours?" he asks, curious.
"Nothing, I'm just tired I guess. How are you feeling? I guess you must be relieved that SNL and the other events are over" she inquired
Namjoon: "Yes, I am. It's always stressful, especially since I'm the spokesperson for the group. There are always tricky questions asked by the journalists or reporters, and I have to navigate my way through them on my own. I represent 7 men and I have to make sure that I always put my best foot forward. I cannot make a mistake and it's a daunting experience" he confessed.
Na-Ri: "It must feel really lonely" she whispered
He looked at her for a second, meditating on the full scope of what she just said.
"It does feel lonely actually..." he answered, in a daze; "but I have you, so I'm ok". he squeezed her a little tighter.
Namjoon words had that power to make a zoo fly in her stomach. She liked his wisdom, his poise, and intelligence. She likes how gentle he is and how caring toward the members he could be. When it came to his interaction with her, it's as if he wrapped her in cotton. On the downside, when the members had a hard time, Namjoon was having it ten times harder.
