Kim Han-Seul: "Son! How are you doing? I've been calling you, but the staff told me you were still unconscious! I'm so relieved you are ok! When are you leaving the hospital?"
Taehyung: "I was just about to leave actually", he replied in a detached tone. "Dad, when will you be back?"
Kim Han-Seul: "Ah Taehyung-ah, I'm not sure, but it will be about another 3 months before I can come back. The deal is taking longer to seal. If only you were interested in the family business, it would have been easier for your old man! I only have you, my son."
Taehyung scoffed, hearing his father's last statement. "Do you, really, have only me?"
Kim Han-Seul: "Yes, of course. What do you mean by that, son?"
Taehyung: "Nothing. Nothing at all", he said after a short pause.
Kim Han-Seul: "What did you want to talk about? Talk to me."
Taehyung hesitated and thought this would be best-discussed face to face. He would have to wait until his father came.
Taehyung: " You know what, I'll wait for you to come back and we'll catch up. No rush."
And with that, the two men hung up. Taehyung put on his face mask and snapback cap and made his way toward the underground car park where the car was waiting for him. He got in and was on his way.
As the car made its way through the streets of Seoul, he kept looking at the envelope in his hand containing the proof that was about to change everything. But for now, it would have to wait.
