It was the day before Halloween and Camila sat on the couch with her eyes glued to the television as she watched a Halloween movie, her leg elevated and her bunny beside her. It's been a few weeks since she got surgery for her leg but she hated the cast. She thought it was such a nuisance for her, but it's not like she could take it off, but at least Lauren was there to help her out.

"Mila, what do you want on your sandwich?" Lauren asked from the kitchen.

"Uh, can you put peanut butter and banana?" Camila requested.

"Got it," Lauren was quick to put the sandwich together and bringing it over as she sat beside her little sister. Although, she couldn't help but notice how quiet Camila's been the past few weeks and it was very unusual. "Mila? Wanna tell me what's going on,"

"I'm so bored without soccer, and I can't do much while I'm like this," she sighed "My team went to the playoffs without me, and lost after the third round. I just wish that girl didn't tackle me," Camila bemoaned her predicament.

"Don't worry, Mila. You'll be up, and running soon,"

"Yeah, but for now I have crutches," Camila pointed to the items by the door "And then you have to carry me around the house, which isn't good for you,"

"Hey, you're my baby sister, I'm supposed to look after you," Lauren smiled. "Don't worry about me," she kissed her sister's head.

Suddenly, Damian burst through the front door, surprising the sisters. "Hey, so you know how Halloween is coming up?" The sisters nodded. "Why do you ask?" Lauren stood up to walk over to her loving boyfriend.

"So, I had an idea...wait for it," Damian was practically giddy with excitement. "We should all do a group costume!"

Camila and Lauren gave a look at each other. "Um, hate to break it to you, Damian, but Lauren and me do a pair's costume. Last year, we were PB & J," Camila explained.

"And the year before we were a firefighter and Dalmatian, it's kind of always been our thing," Lauren added, feeling sheepish. "Oh," his giddiness deflated, and Lauren hated to see her boyfriend upset as much as she hated to see her sister upset.

"B-But hey, why don't we try a group costume this time," Lauren felt bad for crushing his dreams. Camila blinked, giving her sister another look that screamed 'what are you doing?' Lauren could feel her sister's eyes burning into her back but stood firm as she turned her green eyes to face her.

"Come on, it'll be fun,"

Camila's mouth opened to protest but closed almost immediately as she sighed in defeat. "Okay," Camila didn't think it was a fight worth winning, so complying seemed to be the best option.

"So," Lauren turned back to her boyfriend. "What are we gonna be?"

"It's a surprise, you'll see tomorrow," Damian kissed his girlfriend's cheek. "I gotta go, I'll see you then," And just like that, the male was out the door.

Lauren drove Camila to school as usual and helped her into the building. Since it was Halloween, the school allowed the students to wear costumes instead of their uniforms, so with that in mind, Camila just put on a koala onesie. The young girl thanked her sister, hugging her sister before she left for work and hobbled over to her locker. Shawn's locker was right next to her's, and she spotted him as he was grabbing his books.

"Hey, crutchy," he chuckled wholeheartedly.

"Hi, Shawn or should I say, Harry Potter," she pointed out his outfit in her best British accent. "It's pretty cool, right? I even got this wand, and my mom helped me with the scar," he pointed to his forehead with the famed lightning bolt almost looking like it was etched into his skin.
