After placing Camila in bed and tucking her in, Dinah sat on the couch and was very insistent on every detail of Lauren's date.
"So, what happened? And don't leave out any details," Her friend readied herself for what was about to be said.
"You have a strange fascination with my love life, Dinah Jane," Lauren giggled as she sat down next to her.
"Yeah, yeah, please proceed," Dinah insisted.
"Well, first we went to dinner. Damian ordered his entree without spice but it came with spice. Anyway, when his mouth was on fire, he was being all dorky and cute,"
Dinah nodded, remembering why that event took place.
"...And then he took me out for some frozen yogurt and you know what the funny thing was? We got the same flavors and the same toppings! How crazy is that?"
"Wow, that's exciting," Dinah said sarcastically.
"Okay, hold on we brought our yogurt to the beach and then we went on a moonlit walk. It was very romantic and I just..." Lauren sighed with a dream-like look on her face.
"Anything else?"
"Well, you saw us kiss,"
"Yeah, I did and it looked epic. Is he a good kisser?" Dinah asked, a smirk on her face before it was wiped away when she was hit with a couch throw by Lauren. "Dinah!" the girl's cheeks had gone pink.
"I'm not gonna stop asking until you tell me if it was a good kiss or not." Dinah retorted. Lauren went quiet before she nodded meekly. "Oooh, someone's in loooove," her friend teased. "When are you guys gonna go on a second date?"
"Well, we see each other at work, and he's gonna come with me to Mila's soccer game on Thursday, so I guess that could count as a second date?" Lauren shrugged, a bit unsure.
"Hey, different strokes for different folks. Anyway, now that I got my bit of after date gossip, I'm gonna head home." Dinah got up and left. "Good night, Lo,"
"Night," Lauren replied. She then got up and got ready for bed.

Lauren woke up Mila as per usual, but it wasn't for school. Instead, she wanted to have a sister bonding day because she felt like she had been spending a little too much time with Damian.
"Nugget, wake up," she rubbed her sister's back to get her to wake up.
"Lo, it's the weekend I want to sleep" Camila groaned as she put her pillow over her head.
"Come on, let's do something fun, just you and I today."
Camila jolted up "Disney?!?" she asked excitedly. Lauren laughed. "Think smaller. We'll go to Disney another time." Camila pouted but then thought about what else they could do.
"Uh? Can we go to the movies?" she suggested.
"Sure, that sounds fun which movie?"
"They have a live action Lion King that just came out. It's our favorite movie," Lauren nodded. "I'll check showtimes while you get 10 more minutes of sleep; no more, no less."
"Thank you," Camila collapsed back on her pillows and went back to sleep.

Hours later, they arrive at the theatre a little early to take advantage of the arcade, where Lauren beat Camila at air hockey, and Camila retaliated by winning in Dance Dance Revolution.
