After the game they all went out to a celebratory dinner. Everyone was in high spirits with both the win and Liam's birthday.

Finally getting away from the parents, the friend group went to Chris' house to get ready for the after party.

They happily hung out and listened to music, Chris making Liam act out the winning goal so many times that Emily eventually threw a pillow at Chris to make him stop asking.

Giggling, they walked to George's lake house where the after party was going to be. Liam slung his arm around Sam's shoulders and kissed the side of his head. Sam snuggled closer and they entered the party.

Liam was immediately torn from Sam by George because the football lads wanted to play beer pong. Emily pulled Sam after her and Yuna, sitting in the corner and getting them both a drink. Emily and Yuna were so focused on each other that Sam ended up drifting off to get another drink.

Sam watched as Amber clawed at Liam's arm, apparently forgetting that Liam was both gay and in a relationship. Sam chuckled as he saw the look of pain cross Liam's face.

He heard someone touch his shoulder behind him and he turned around. "Hey! I'm Finn" Sam's eyes met green ones.

Sam couldn't hear him over the music "WHAT?" He leaned closer

"FINN!" The boy yelled, pointing at himself.

Sam laughed and caught on "SAM!" He yelled back, pointing at himself.

Finn chuckled and motioned for them to move to the kitchen where they could hear each other better. Sam turned to the dark haired boy, he was handsome with his jet black hair and vibrant green eyes. "I don't recognise you? Do you go to Lakewood?"

Finn smiled "No, I go to Fielding School... I met George when we played against each other and he invited me... he is a really cool guy"

They spoke for a while, getting to know each other. Finn approached Sam because he saw him by himself as well "I thought our mutual dislike for parties would mean we could be friends" Finn had joked.

"Can I ask you a personal question?" Sam asked after a while, looking from Finn's green eyes to where George was standing talking to Liam. "Are you and George a thing? I don't want to pry but George didn't invite anyone from any of the other schools"

Finn blanched "ummm no.... well....I don't know..." He sighed.

Sam smiled widely "Hmmm well I know from personal experience that you just need to go for it... otherwise you'll end up wasting time"

Finn glanced up "You're gay too?"

Sam laughed "Well I don't know what I am but I've only ever liked one person and that happened to be that little shit over there"

Finn looked to where Sam indicated to Liam who was now laughing at something George was saying. "Fuck he is so hot...does he feel the same?"

"Hands off, Finn" they both laughed "Yeah he is my boyfriend"

Finn sighed "What would I give to have that, you're such an attractive couple how do people put up with you two together" they laughed again "Honestly, I'm so glad he is your boyfriend, I've been watching them thinking I had no chance with George if he was talking to a guy like that."
