It took Goggles a lot of empathy to forgive his boyfriend for what he'd done. Rider had thoroughly explained everything but that left the blue inkling with questions. Why did Army have to die? Why was it such a big deal that he and Rider were together? Why did Rider have Metry kill Army? The young boy may not have been very smart before Inkopolis was overrun by the yakuza, but after his team decided to become a gang, he had to wise up. He wasn't gonna survive by being a dumbass. Goggles answered all his questions himself. Army didn't have to die, it was just Rider being petty and vengeful. It was such a big deal that the two were together because Rider's reputation was almost as important as Goggles. Metry was the one that killed Army because Rider didn't want to get his hands dirty. Goggles knew what Rider did was the complete opposite of the right thing but, he couldn't be mad.
"I understand that this all may change your opinion of me, and-" Rider muttered, sitting up in his bed. "I still love you," Goggles interrupted. Rider was taken aback, "But why? Like, I love you too, but why?"
"I guess I fell a little too hard for you, heh," the blue inkling said with a small chuckle. Rider stared at Goggles for what felt like hours, but really it was only a few seconds, and the shorter boy found himself staring back.
"I love you more than you could ever imagine, Goggles." The "tough" inkling found himself tearing up at the sight of his boyfriend staring so innocently. "You're so pretty, Rider," Goggles said with a warm smile, leaving Rider with gentle tears streaming down his face. He pulled his partner in for a hug. "Well, you're beautiful." The blue inkling giggled, grabbing Rider's face and looking him in his eyes. "You're perfect! Your pretty green eyes look so cute whenever you're angry. You have cute little freckles all over your face. Your eyelashes are really long, and it's adorable! You're just too good to be true." Rider felt more tears rush down his face. Goggles softly wiped them away with his thumbs and smiled. "Why are you crying, silly?"
"You are so fucking cute. I love you, I love you, I love you," Rider said, pecking the smaller boy's face several times. Goggles tackle hugged him in response, causing the two to flop down onto the bed. Rider laughed softly, a truly rare sound. In this moment, nothing else mattered but his sweet blue boyfriend. "Goggles," he started. The aforementioned inkling looked up at him, with those big round eyes. "You make me so damn happy, and I'd do anything for you. Never forget that." Goggles gazed at him with teary eyes before planting a kiss on his cheek. "Aw, Rider you're making me cry too!"
The boys laid in bed cuddling until Rider let out a yawn. "Nap time?" Goggles questioned. "It's been nap time, but I've been waiting because I was being affectionate with a certain someone," Rider chuckled. "Well, that certain someone will be joining you in nap time." Goggles snuggled into Rider's side and inhaled. "You smell like dirt, but y'know, good dirt."
"And you smell stinky, goodnight."
"Hehe, goodnight Rider. I love you!"
"I love you too, Goggles."

"I'm sorry I showed up on such short notice. I know I just saw you a few hours ago but... I really have no where else to go," N-Pacer admitted, looking away from the girl in front of her. "No, you don't have to be sorry! Goggles is sleeping over at Rider's right now, it was gonna be a lonely night before you came around," Headphones said with a nervous chuckle, patting down on her bed for the taller girl to sit. "Thank you for letting me come over anyway. It means a lot. The only people at my place are Emperor and Gloves and all they do is..." The yellow inkling trailed off. "Oh." The two shared an awkward silence.
"Today has been pretty stressful, huh?" N-Pacer said, trying to start up a conversation. "Oh, yeah. I'm just glad Goggles and Prince are okay."
"Yeah, me too." Headphones glanced at N-Pacer. God she was so pretty. Did N-Pacer ever think the same about her? Oh, probably not, they were just... What were they? Friends? Girlfriends...?
"Hey uh, you okay?" Headphones jumped slightly, finally snapping back to reality. "O-oh, yeah why?"
"You were kinda staring." N-Pacer replied. "Sorry I just uh, um.. You- You're really pretty." The anxious girl stuttered out. This made her giggle. "I think you're pretty too, Headphones."
"R-really?" She smiled. "Yeah, really."
