"Thank you so much for taking care of Prince. You have no idea how much it means to me. Work has been getting heavier and heavier for the last few days," N-Pacer gave Goggles a genuinely grateful smile. "It's the least I can do," the blue inkling said with a smile. "Here's all his painkillers and medical stuff to clean his wound every once in a while," she said, giving him a small paper bag. "Take good care of him." Goggles nodded. "I'll do my very best," he vowed. "I have to go tend to something now, but I'll be back to visit later. Thanks again," she waved before leaving. "Are you sure you can handle such a big responsibility?" Rider asked from the couch, lying down with his hands behind his head. "Of course! This is important!" Goggles insisted. "You said that last month about your goldfish, should I remind you what happened to ol' Goldie?" Rider snickered. "Prince isn't a fish, Ridey," the blue inkling pouted.

"I know, I know. Sorry," he mumbled, closing his eyes. "It's fine. What do you think he would like to eat?" Goggles asked, looking through the kitchen. "Leave it to me," the yellow green inkling insisted, sitting up and walking to their kitchen. "Are you sure?" Rider nodded. "It's the Oyabun's little brother, he probably has a rich tongue," he said, opening up the pantry. "A rich tongue? He had to buy it?" Goggles tilted his head. "No, I mean— Never mind, don't worry about it. Just let me make the food, okay?" Goggles nodded. "Why not you go hang out with Prince, yeah?" Rider suggested as he brought out some spaghetti noodles. "Okay!" the blue inkling pranced into Headphones' room, where they decided to keep the young Houzuki. "It's fine, I'll just stay over at N-Pacer's house," Headphones had said.

"Hey, Princey," the blue inkling greeted with a smile, sitting down at Headphones' desk chair. The said inkling girl's bed was replaced with a bed more comfortable for Prince's sake. He could adjust it to his liking with a little remote. "Hi," the yellow inkling smiled back. "Is it hot in here? I can open the window or bring in a fan if you'd like," Goggles offered. Prince hummed in thought, "Just a fan is fine." The blue inkling nodded and went into Specs' room to steal a fan. The blue gang leader always hogged all the fans to himself but never used them. "It smells good, Ridey!" Goggles called from the hallway as he hauled the fan into the bedroom. "I'm not even close to done though," Rider muttered to himself, staring at the boiling water.

"There ya go," Goggles announced as he plugged in the fan. "Thank you, thank you," Prince said gratefully. "Of course! Need anything else?" The Houzuki shook his head. "Mkay, I'll serve dinner to you in a bit," Goggles said before closing the door to leave Prince alone.

He skipped over to his boyfriend and wrapped his arms around the taller boy's chest. "I love you," he mumbled, nuzzling into his back. "I love you more," Rider turned around to look at his beloved. He cupped his face and stared at him for a while. "You're so cute," he muttered, admiring his stupid boyfriend. "I know," Goggles giggled. The yellow green inkling wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, his arms just around his neck. Goggles planted a few kisses on Rider's jaw before hugging him back. They stayed there for a few seconds before Rider pulled away. "I'll call you to dinner, okay?" The blue inkling nodded but tiptoed to kiss his boyfriend. Their lips lingered for a bit before they pulled apart. "Love you lots," he smiled before walking over to the couch and turning on the TV. "Love you too."

"Specs."

"Headphones."

Said inklings stared at each other. "Convenient seeing you here," the inkling boy muttered, adjusting his eyes. "Very." The two were at the Salmon Run building, just at the entrance. "You working a shift?" he asked, nodding towards the wooden bear statue. "Yeah. There hasn't been many dealings going on lately. Probably 'cause everyone keeps dying," Headphones stated, walking inside and approaching the small statue. "Mr. Grizz?" she called his attention. "Hey, kid. Workin' a shift?" She hummed in response. "There's two of us, is that a problem?" she asked. "Not at all. I'm teaming you up with the S4's Skull and his friend," Mr. Grizz said. "Alright, thanks," Headphones and Specs walked over to the worker's gear.
