For the past few weeks, Rider couldn't help but be pissed off at Aloha for making him steal meth from his boyfriend's leader.
"Metry, I have a question for you."
"What's up, Rider?" The pink inkling perked up, intrigued as to what the yellow green inkling would say. The two were hanging out at Rider's apartment. Goggles was hanging out with Headphones for the day, so he decided to hang out with Metry and for one reason only. "Do you like me?" he asked curiously, turning to her. "Of course I like you, I'd do anything for you silly," she said with a sweet smile. The School Cardigan really did like Rider; she had a big crush on him. Of course, the taller inkling knew this and decided to use it to his advantage, even if he felt like an asshole for doing so.
"Anything?" He raised an eyebrow. "Mhm," she nodded. "You've killed someone before right?" he asked, looking into her eyes. She nodded, "I've done it only twice."
"Can you do me a favor then?"
"Like what?"
"Kill Army."
She could tell Rider was serious by the look in his eyes and that caused her to frown. "Why do you want Army dead?" Metry couldn't help but ask. "Just to get back at Aloha, he told Goggles I stole the meth for money," he explained. "But then I would be betraying my boss," she muttered. "I'll pay you higher than what he does," Rider gave her a look. "I know what you need money for, and I'm willing to pay for the whole thing if you do this."
Metry looked down and blushed, "Really?" Rider nodded, "Aloha's been on my dick for so long, it's time he learns to mind his own business." Metry took a moment to think, should she really betray Aloha? She liked Rider a lot, and he was even willing to pay for her transition. But on the other hand, Aloha was one of her best friends, and she happened to like Army. She turned to Rider, "Does it have to be Army?" The yellow green inkling thought about it for a second, and simply nodded again. Metry frowned, she thought of how this would benefit her. If she fully transitioned, not only would she be much happier, but she could get a better job, and maybe she could help out her gang members too. But if she killed Army, Aloha would be devastated. She glanced at the inkling next to her, texting his boyfriend and seemingly getting no reply. Maybe, just maybe, Aloha deserved it.
"Alright, deal."

"I haven't slept with anyone since last week, Skull. What am I doing wrong?" Aloha asked, taking a small bite of his pizza. "Maybe you should stop pestering him everyday that you don't sleep with someone," the purple inkling suggested while watching his soap opera. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Skull snickered. "Don't act like you don't know, I hear you everyday. Once Army leaves his room, you're always talking to him about how you hadn't slept with anyone. That's gonna make him uncomfortable," he said, taking a bite of his own pizza. "Well how else is he supposed to know?"
"Normal people don't have to remind someone that they haven't fucked someone else, Aloha."
The pink inkling furrowed his eyebrows, "Well, what else can I do?" He loved Army, at least he thought so. He just also happened to love how Army was in bed. Okay, maybe he was being a little inconsiderate.
"Maybe show that you actually love him. Bruh, you're such a dumbass, this is literally the most basic knowledge," Skull replied, obviously annoyed that Aloha was interrupting his soap opera. "Ugh, where's my phone?"
"Hell if I know," Aloha rolled his eyes at Skull and pushed him aside to find his phone in between the couch cushions.
5 missed calls from Army
The pink inkling tilted his head in confusion. Why was Army calling him? He unlocked his phone to find a single message.
"help" sent an hour ago.
Aloha frowned, worry starting to plague his thoughts. "Skull, look." The pink inkling showed him the phone, and his eyes narrowed. "Do you know where he went?" Aloha asked, anxiousness apparent in his tone. "No, don't you have his phone location?" Skull was beginning to worry too. Aloha widened his eyes and quickly tried to find the orange inkling. "It says he was last active an hour ago, at Blackbelly."
"Hm," Skull stared at the ground, before placing his pizza on the coffee table and turning off the TV. "Let's go find him."
Aloha couldn't help but think only the worst of why Army texted him for help and called him five times. Could you blame him, why else would the orange inkling be calling him? Army had been very independent since the two broke up and he just, didn't need Aloha's help. The only reason why the pink inkling took note of this was because he hated it. He wasn't sure if it was because he noticed Army never asked him for help before or because he was the one who needed help.
Once the two pulled up, the pink inkling couldn't help but jump out of the car and run towards the skatepark, looking for where Army could possibly be. Skull looked on the opposite side of Blackbelly, trying to hide his anxiety but was a little more frantic than he usually was. "Yo, Aloha! Get over here!" The aforementioned quickly whipped around to see where Skull was. The purple inkling motioned him over, disappearing around a corner. Taking his .52 Gal, he pulled the trigger a few times to make a line of ink. He quickly swam over to Skull, a sudden shudder rushing through him once he turned into an inkling again. He felt his three hearts stop at the sight.
Skull dropped his E-Liter and ran to Army's side, checking to see if he could still be possibly alive (which was highly unlikely). Aloha stood there, petrified. All he could do was stare at the inkling. He was leaning against a wall, a hand over a wound that was pretty eye catching. "He was shot," the purple inkling muttered as he examined Army. A pool of orange ink surrounded him, one way too big for Aloha not to notice. His skin was ghostly pale and the usual fiery orange in his eyes was long gone; his eyes were glazed white. The pink inkling didn't realize he was crying until he noticed a small pain in his left hand. He examined his hand to see reddened nail marks. He wiped his tears with his arm.
"He's fucking dead, Skull." The leader of the S4 frowned. "He's fucking dead!" Aloha screamed, falling to his knees. "Fucking shit! Who the hell could've done this to him!?" As the pink inkling had his mental breakdown, Skull took off his mask and respectively held it at his chest. He hesitated before closing Army's eyes. "He's gonna turn into a pool of ink soon," the purple inkling said. Aloha pounded his fists on the ground like a child. "No! No, no, no!" he screamed, crawling over to the deceased orange inkling. He grabbed his face and slapped him. "Wake the fuck up!" Skull placed a hand on the shorter inkling's shoulder, which was swatted away quickly. "Don't leave me, don't leave me," Aloha repeated, holding Army's pale hand and planting small kisses on it. He felt his hearts shatter a little more as the hand he held started to slowly melt into orange ink. "No! No, stop it!" Skull felt a few raindrops fall as a tear fell down his cheek. He quickly wiped it with his bandana. "He's gone, Al." The pink inkling sobbed as Army turned into just a pool of ink. "I'm sorry," the purple inkling muttered.
Aloha grabbed Army's ink soaked gear and held it to his chest, crying into his parka. He didn't know what to do now; he was soaked in orange ink, he was a mess, it was raining, and Skull just watched as he broke down. "I'm so sorry," he shook as he uncontrollably sobbed. "I love you so much, and I never fucking showed you that I did!" The pink inkling's moment of misery continued on for what felt like an eternity. He only stopped when Skull hesitantly tapped his shoulder and pointed towards a small trail of ink. Aloha's eyes widened, the ink was pink. "M-Metry," He stood up and put on the ink soaked parka. "Aloha wh-" before Skull could finish, Aloha was off, still covered in ink and weapon in hand.
"I'll deal with that later," he muttered to himself. He picked up what was remaining of Army's gear and walked back to the car.
As soon as he clicked the apartment door open, he saw Mask sitting on the couch, eating his forgotten pizza. "Mask? You're back?" The cyan inkling turned to look at him and shrugged, "Broke oooouuut, why do you have Army's cloooothes?"
"Long story."
"What'd I miiiiiisssss?"
