"Cute room," Marina smiled as she entered 8's bedroom. "Thanks, I try," 8 said as the older octoling walked in, staring at all the pictures on the wall that she had.

The walls were pink, even before they moved in. 8's large bed had pastel green bedding and most likely smelled of citrus, just as Agent 3 did. Her vanity also had pictures glued to the mirror. The amount of pictures Agent 8 had were almost uncountable.

"Are you still getting used to it all?" Marina asked, sitting down on the bed. "Yeah. It's not anything I'm used to," 8 said, hanging up her string lights carefully. "3 always talked about how she wanted this for you," Marina told her, a sad smile on her face.

"I'm sure she did. She liked to spoil me, even with the little money she had. She wouldn't stop smoking those damn cigarettes though," 8 said, a sour feeling left in her mouth.

"Knock knock, bitches." They both turned their heads over to the door, where Hachi stood. "Oh, good. You made it. Help me hang these up," 8 said. She owned many string lights and even had a string of lights in a champagne bottle on her desk. "Jeez, I guess that's one way to ask," Hachi said with a roll of his eyes. "Here, I'll help too," Marina volunteered.

"How's your boyfriend treating you?" Marina asked Hachi as she hung up some lights over the vanity mirror. "Oh, I'm doing him good, if ya know what I mean. And he's sweet. He stopped doing fuckin' meth for me," Hachi smiled at the thought.

"Are you helping him recover from that?" Marina asked. "Of course. It's still tempting him, yeah. But I'm, like, ten times more tempting. I'm like a coping method," Hachi boasted.

"You're gross," 8 said teasingly. "You're just jealous I have a sexier bod than you," he winked. "Alright, I'm tired," he suddenly said and fell ungracefully on to the bed. "You only hung up one string," 8 pointed out. "Too much work," he sighed dramatically. "You're too much work," Marina giggled.

When they were finished, they all lied down in 8's bed. "Do y'all have any furniture that you don't want anymore?" Hachi asked suddenly. "Uh, I think so? Why?" Marina asked. "'Cuz I want some decor n' furniture. Why else?" Hachi asked. "If ya want, we can send the doormen to put stuff in your truck," Marina offered. "Yeah, that'd be cool. Thanks," Hachi said with a loud yawn.

"Alright, I'm gonna go contact them real quick. Do you two want anything to eat?" Marina asked. "Just a lemonade would be nice," 8 said. "I'll take one of those too," Hachi answered.

"I know life is going, like, shitty. But just remember that those two are watching you," Hachi said once Marina was gone. "Huh?" 8 looked at him in confusion. Hachi saying something sincere was rare.

"Pearl and 3 both loved you to death. I can guarantee they are watching over you," Hachi promised. 8 gave him a gentle smile and nodded.

"I'll try to visit y'all more often. I've been so super busy lately," he apologized, checking a notification on his phone. "You can come and live with us," 8 offered. "Nah, Specs and I can get loud," he giggled. She scrunched her face in mock disgust.

"Glad you two are having fun," 8 commented. "Oh, yes. Yes, indeed," he said, suddenly very intrigued with his phone.

Marina came back with two pink lemonades and a smile to brighten their day. "Damn, Mar. You could be a great waitress," Hachi said, grabbing his lemonade. "I try," she chuckled as 8 took her own glass.

Hachi's phone suddenly rang from his back pocket and he groaned. "Hello?" he asked into the phone. "Yeah, yeah, I got it. Want me to swing by now?" Hachi sighed. "Yeah, on my way, see ya in a bit," he said and hung up.

"Sorry you two, I gotta get going. Specs is, uh, 'expecting' me. Is all the furniture in truck already?" Hachi asked. "Should be. Bye, Hachi," Marina hugged him tightly. "Later, darlings," he smiled and hugged 8.
