"You know I don't really 'own' this place anymore. And people are gonna be turfing here in about an hour, you should get outta here."

Goggles sat cross legged. For once, he was sitting atop Moray Towers during the daytime. The sun was behind clouds but the sky was a brilliant blue.

"I know but I like this place," Goggles said, a gust
of wind flying by. "Do you remember the first time you met me here?" the blue inkling asked as Rider sat down next to him. "Yeah, I do," he said.

The small boy looked at him and smiled. "I want to give you a tattoo," he stated. Rider furrowed his eyebrows, "Why?" Goggles shrugged, "You leave marks on me all the time. I want to leave one on you." Rider blushed, "I'm sorry, what?" Goggles pulled down his jacket collar and revealed all the hickeys that Rider had given him over the past few weeks.

"But those go away, Gogs," Rider noted, a prominent blush still apparent on his cheeks. "You're just going to keep giving them to me. They'll always be there," the blue inkling said.

Rider sighed, "Fine. Bamboo should have some ink and needles." Goggles smiled, "Great! But why does Bamboo Hat have that stuff?" Rider unzipped his jacket and lifted his shirt, revealing a tattoo that simply said YG in Japanese calligraphy. "Ooooh, she was the one who did that," Goggles realized, who's seen the tattoo many times before. Rider gave a slight nod and zipped up his jacket again. Goggles jumped on Rider's back, a small groan escaping Rider but he didn't comment.

"Where are ya gonna put it?" Rider asked as they started leaving Moray Towers. "Hmm, I'm still tryna figure that out," Goggles said. "Maybe on ur neck," Goggles poked Rider's jaw and dragged it down to his collar bone. The action caused shivers running down Rider's spine. "Or maybe on your chest," Goggles suggested, caressing his chest. "Maybe on your forearm, or your back, I dunno, I might just make a last minute choice," he said.

Needless to say, Bamboo and Rider weren't very happy about the fact that Goggles was gonna be the one doing the tattoo. Why Rider even agreed was a mystery to Bamboo.

"Take off your shirt," Goggles ordered. It was the most serious Rider had ever seen him. Without a word, he did as told. "Hmm, Bamboo, help me out," Goggles requested thoughtfully, examining Rider's bare upper body. Goggles giggled, "What if I put it on one of his love handles?" Rider blushed as he felt the small finger drag across his left love handle.

Bamboo snorted in amusement. Rider scowled at her and flipped her off. "Sorry, sorry. Okay, uh, why not I remove his YG tattoo, since we won't be needing it anymore, and you do one just over here?" She traced where his ribcage would be if he had one. "I kinda liked the idea of doing one on his neck," Goggles said. "Nah, Rider's more of a subtle kinda guy," Bamboo noted.

Goggles kept that in mind. He made a sudden grab at Rider's left forearm, which made the yellow green inkling jolt away quickly. "S-Sorry," Rider mumbled shakily. Bamboo awkwardly turned away and randomly started organizing her tattooing equipment.

Goggles frowned and slowly grabbed at his arm again. Rider bit on his lip, "They're old." Goggles furrowed his eyebrows. "We're doing it here," he said as he stared lividly at the burns and scars. "Goggles, are you positi—"

"Yes."

"I swear if you spell your name wrong, you don't get cuddles for a fucking week," Rider threatened. He had his red shirt back on, Bamboo staring at his bare chest made him uncomfortable despite her relationship with Blazer.

Bamboo tried to hold back a laugh, but a gracious chortle escaped anyway. "Who's Googles?" she asked. "You're fucking with me, right?" Rider asked anxiously. "Duh. I don't even know what he's spelling, it's in some kinda foreign language," she said. "It's Japanese," he said. "My granny taught it to me," he added. "I think I've heard of it," Rider hummed.

"I'm almost done. Jeez, this is such a process," he said. "Bruh, you're just writing your name," Bamboo muttered. "Well, I'm not good at writing my own name, okay?" Goggles pouted. "Okay, I'm done. But I want you to add one more thing, Bamboo."

She looked at the tattoo. Despite how messy she would have figured it might have been, he wrote it nicely. "It's really nice," she complimented. "Granny taught me that it only looks cool if it's done correctly," he said, sitting on a chair and kicking his legs back and forth.

"What did you want me to add?" she asked. "Just small angels wings underneath it," Goggles said. "Angel wings? Where'd that idea come from?" Rider asked. "Your freckles, silly," Goggles smiled. "Uh, can you elaborate?" Bamboo asked. "Headphones told me that freckles are angel kisses," he said with a bright smile. Bamboo pouted to emphasize her cooing. "Ya hear that, Ri? How adorable is that?"

Rider ignored her, and stared at Goggles for a long time. "Bamboo, do you mind leaving the room?" he asked, not looking away from the blue inkling. She groaned in disgust, "Can't y'all wait until after?" Rider scowled but nodded.

As Bamboo did the small and simple angel wings, Rider and Goggles stared at each other the whole time and the blue inkling already knew what to expect.

They finally looked away as soon as Bamboo finished. Goggles smiled at the neatly printed ごぐる and the angel wings just below. "It's perfect," he said. "Okay, get out and fuck now, you're welcome," she said, grabbing her equipment, shoving it into a bag and leaving the apartment.

Rider carefully carried Goggles bridal-style and went into his bedroom. The blue inkling quickly kicked off his shoes as he was dropped onto the bed. Rider climbed on top of him and unzipped the small boy's jacket, tossing it to the side. Goggles wrapped his arms around Rider and kissed him deeply, pulling him closer.

When they pulled away, Rider said, "You're the angel." Goggles, still catching his breath, raised an eyebrow. "Huh?" Rider rolls his eyes. "Y'know. The thing you said earlier. Freckles are angel kisses. You're the angel," he reminded. Goggles smiled, "I'm your angel."

"Do you want to go do a Private Battle?" Rider asked suddenly. "Oh, uh, sure," Goggles replied. "We're going to Skipper Pavilion then," Rider said. "Where Miss Oyabun died?" Goggles asked. The yellow green inkling gave a slight nod.

When they arrived at Deca Tower, it was already nighttime. They entered hand in hand. "I'll set it up," Rider said. Goggles waited around in the lobby, staring at his shoes. Suddenly, the spawns showed up to go to our destination. "I'll meet ya there," Rider said, stepping on and super-jumping to the pavilion.

The lanterns were lit, the water was illuminated by the light. Goggles started running to the middle of the map, where Rider stood waiting. At that moment, Goggles noticed instead of his usual dynamo roller, Rider held an octobrush.

"You can use a brush?" Goggles asked. "I only brought it for one reason," Rider replied, smacking it down on the ground and drawing a large heart on the ground.

"Color it in with your ink," Rider ordered. Goggles obliged, trying his best not to mess up the heart. Once he was finished, Rider smiled in satisfaction. "Perfect," he said, wrapping his arms around the smaller boy. "That's all?" Goggles asked. "What do you mean that's all? Don't you get it?" the taller boy asked. "You fill up my heart. You fill my mind. You are the only thing keeping me alive," Rider explained. "That was cute," Goggles giggled and pressed his lips against Rider's lips.

They stayed quiet and let the timer run out. They hugged as it did so.
