      "Town" is basically just the area in our town where all the stores and restaurants are. It's a medium sized area but it has a lot of open space to hang out. It's like the default place for my friends and I to go.

    I chuckled and set my phone down. I turned on the tv and made it pretty quiet so Noah could still sleep. He woke up around an hour later and went through all the texts. "Ew, why was Kaller stalking you?" He laughed. I laughed back.
     "He walks his dog past here like every day now," I told him.
      "Why is he like in love with you all of the sudden?"
     "He's not," I said defensively. "He lives a block over it makes sense for him to walk his dog here."
      "Okkkk," Noah sang. "Whatever you say Mrs. Samantha Kaller." I threw a pillow at him.
     "Come on we have to meet in town soon." I told him. He nodded and we got up and went upstairs. I saw Viv and my mom sitting at the table. My mom places a plate of pancakes in the center of the table and smiled.
      "Morning," she said to us.
      "Morning," I yawned. Noah walked to the cabinet and got out two plates. He handed me one and we sat at the table.
"How did you guys sleep?" My mom asked.
"Like they slept, yeah right," Viv mumbled snickering.
"We did sleep," I reported. "and we're gonna go meet some friends in town in a little."
"Who are these friends?" my mom asked. She knows I only hang out with the same like six people but she always asks anyway.
"The usual. Julia, Jordan, Noah Kaller," I listed as she nodded.
"Have they seen you since you got home?" she asked Noah. he shook his head.
"It's been a minute," he sighed. It really has been a bit. Noah's been so busy recently that to be honest, it kinda seemed like the group forgot about him. But we could never forget about him. He kinda holds us together sometimes.
       We finished our breakfast then I started to butter up Viv. "Viv your hair looks really good!" I told her. She smiled gently.
"Thanks I straightened it last night then-" her face returned to its normal state. "you need a ride to town." I nodded giving my biggest smile. She sighed and stood up. She picked up her keys from the counter and waved us over. "Get in losers."
