     Everyone was frozen. We all knew exactly what officer Jack meant, but it was such a foreign idea. We were just 15. We'd never been concerned about this kind of thing.
"Kids, sit on the steps. If you move I'll put you in cuffs." We all obeyed officer Jack and sat down. Julia was so drowsy and was barely responsive. The cops were talking by the car and I saw them call Mr. and Mrs. Raskin. We were all silent; Not because we were scared of getting in trouble, but because we were all terrified. Officer Jack came back over looking exhausted and handed Chloe, who was closest to Julia, Julia's phone.
"Well, your story checks out," he told us. "Julia's parents said they knew you guys were coming here, and they know you kids don't drink. Then her older sister confirmed that she's never had alcohol. Are Julia and her sister close?" We all nodded. Julia and Dani are practically best friends. If Dani says she's never had alcohol, she hasn't. "We're gonna drive her home. Do any of you live close to her?" Noah, Chloe and I nodded. "Get in," he told us gesturing to one of the cop cars. We obeyed and got into the back seat. "One of you has to come up front, I don't trust her near the dash." We nodded in agreement and Chloe got out to sit up front. The whole encounter was so quiet. We were all so...shocked. Noah and I put Julia in between us and waved to Jordan and Kaller. "Do you kids have a way home?" the cop asked.
"I'll call my sister," Kaller answered. The cop nodded, and we were off.
"Where do you all live?" he asked us. I told him my address as Noah's phone started ringing. Chloe told their address and Noah answered.
"Hey mom," he spoke gently. There was a pause as Karine spoke. "Oh, ok that makes sense...Ok, yeah I'll tell them...Ok bye." She hung up the phone. "My parents are going to stay with the Raskins tonight and my mom wants Chloe and I to stay with you," he told me. I nodded. Karine and Mrs. Raskin are really close.
"So all of you are going to the same place?" Officer Jack. We nodded. I could tell by the change in his tone since we met that he knows we're all innocent. "I'm sorry you guys had to be a part of this. Just stay away from those mansion parties, ok?"
     "We weren't doing anything bad," Chloe defended us. She's always sure to clear her name of any rumors.
     "Yes, I know," he agreed. "Just please try to stay on the right path. How's Julia doing back there?" I looked over and saw one of my best friends falling in and out of consciousness.
     "She doesn't look too good," I noticed. "Julia, can you hear me?"
     "Mhm," she whispered.
     "Shouldn't she go to the hospital?" Noah asked.
     "Luckily she wasn't given anything too bad," officer Jack told us. "I mean, no drug is good, but she'll be able to ride this out and be fine, don't worry about her." Noah and I looked at eachother confused. We were both thinking the same thing: she should go to the hospital. Of course we don't know much about drugs, but this was terrifying.
    A few minutes later, we got to my house. Officer Jack let us out and told us he'd come by tomorrow to ask us some questions. I could tell he had a feeling about what had happened at the party and needed us for evidence. Noah, Chloe and I went inside and my mom hugged us all as we walked in. We had never delt with anything close to this before. Nobody talked the rest of the night.
