Having six people getting ready in one room in kind of crazy. I mean, the guys only had to change, but of course they stayed in the room and just took up space when the girls were doing their makeup. "Antha," Julia called. I whipped my head around. "Can I do your makeup?" she smiled sheepishly.
"Ok," I gave in. "Don't go crazy though."
"Of course," she scoffed. "I know just how to it, don't you worry." I chuckled and sat in her spinny chair. As she was doing my makeup, everyone was talking and being stupid. Then, suddenly, Noah Kaller gasped and jumped up.
"Antha!" He exclaimed.
"What?" I jumped in shock.
"James Nicholas just snapped me making sure you were going to be at the party!" I smirked a little.
"Oh really," I chuckled. "Well I will be."
"That kid lowkey creeps me out," Noah Schnapp laughed. "Like he's just obsessed with you."
"But he's hot," Jordan pointed out. "Too hot for Sam anyway," she joked.
"Ha ha," I said sarcastically. I paused before speaking again as Julia put something on my lips. "I think I'm gonna ask him to Sadie Hawkins." Everyone muttered words of approval
"Tonight?" Chloe asked. I shook my head.
"I don't have anything planned," I explained.
"Well, we should ask him and Andrew to hang out one day and you can do it then." I nodded.
"Yeah, that sounds good."
"Finished!" Julia exclaimed backing away from me. I turned my chair to face a mirror and immediately gasped. She did such a good job. Not to be stuck up but I looked...like...hot.
"Antha! Damnnn," Kaller exclaimed half joking.
"You look fricking hot," Chloe agreed. Jordan and Noah nodded along. I was starting to get a little uncomfortable with all the attention so I said my thank yous and went on my phone.
Around half an hour later, everyone was ready to go. Julia's older sister Dani drove us to the party. Sure her parents knew where we were going, but I'm not sure they would be ok with everything they'd see when they got there. We all piled into the Raskin's mini van and Dani started the car. Noah was sitting next to me scrolling through his instagram. I looked over his shoulder and he turned his phone towards me so I could see too.
"You have so many dms," I laughed. "How does it not bother you to have so many notifications?" Hs shrugged.
"I open as many as I can, but it seems like the more I open the more they come in," he laughed. "Plus it makes me look popular." I nodded dramatically teasing him. He then turned to me and was looking around my face. "Julia did a good job," he agreed with everyone else. "Of course it's super weird for me to see you with a bunch of makeup since you never wear it ever," he added. "But it looks good."
"I wear makeup almost every day Noah," I laughed. His eyes grew wide.
"No way!" he exclaimed.
"Yeah," I chuckled. "I wear mascara, concealer, and blush every day unless I'm swimming." He shook his head.
"Mind blowing," he stated.
Soon after, we arrived at the party. The house was huge. Like gigantic. There could be hundreds of people in there which definitely terrified by inner introvert. We all poured out of the car, thanked Dani, and walked inside. I immediately saw countless unrecognizable faces in the tiniest outfits. "Hey, wanna come to the backyard with me? It smells gross in here," Chloe asked me. I nodded quickly and she took my hand. It seemed to take minutes to walk through the huge house. Maybe it was because there were crowds of people in every inch.
"Who's party is this anyway?" I asked.
"I don't even know, some kid from White Plains High. I think his name is Julian," Chloe shrugged. So we were in some stranger's house. Classic. We got to the back door and it was already wide open. Although it sounds impossible, the backyard may have been even bigger than the house. There was a giant pool with glowing lights inside, a deck that circled the whole house, and the biggest trampoline I've ever seen. "Why did I agree to come to this?" Chloe groaned.
"I feel that," I agreed. "Let's just hang out here and wait it out." Then I heard someone calling,
"Samantha!"
