wow so last thing I knew this story had less than 50 reads but now it has over 150 so... that's amazing...
ok I know you are all mad at me probably for the thing at the end of last chapter, but there is hope for healing in this one.
well then here have a story:
Michael
"L-Luke?" I asked, stuttering.
"Hold on," he told Sara, "I have to go to the bathroom."
"Luke, are you going to pay attention to me or not? I'm here to apologize."
He walked into the bathroom and left the door open for a few seconds. Then I realized that I was supposed to follow him, so I did. He closed the door behind him and glared at me. "Where the fûck have you been?" he whispered, and I could tell he would be screaming it if he didn't have a fûcking girl in the next room.
"Alone, but apparently you were fine."
"Michael, I had given up. I apologized, I had an entire speech just for you, and you ignored me. You left, and you didn't come back. The last couple of weeks have been hell without you, but do you care? No, you just stayed on your high horse until Jamie convinced you that I might be worth it, and now you might as well just go back before you cause more pain."
"See, this is exactly why I left! If this hurts you now, think how bad it'll be when you actually fall for me, and I'm gone for good. I don't want to hurt you, Luke, I'm in love with you, I have been for a long time, and I know how much pain it causes. I don't want the one I love to have to go through it without me there to make you feel better." Damn it, I was crying again.
"I have fallen for you..." Wait for it... What the fuck? I was still here. "I don't love you per se, but I do like you." He chuckled a little. "I've fallen in like with you, Michael." I smiled for the first time in weeks and remembered the fourth granted wish on my list.
“"“"“"
"Michael, cuddle with me," Luke whined, and I groaned, wrapping one arm around him. "You're no good at this." He wrapped his legs around my waist, and I bit my lip, trying not to let the Cliffoconda show his ass that I was attracted to him. People already thought we were a gay couple as it was, but hey, who wouldn't want his body?
"Well, I'm sorry if I'm not what you wanted," I scoffed.
"You're all that I want in a friendship, Mikey, you just need to be better at cuddling."
"This is the best that I can be," I said dramatically, rubbing my face in the crook of his neck, which apparently felt really good, because it made him moan. Down, boy, down.
"I can live with that. So... wanna play a card game?"
"Sure, what do you wanna play?"
"I don't know, B.S, Egyptian War, Speed, Go Fish--"
"The only one you've listed that I know is Go Fish."
Luke looked up at me with wide eyes. "What a sad life you lead."
"Har har. Let's play Go Fish, I'll deal."
"No. If you're going to make it in life, you need to learn more card games."
"Why do I need to--"
"No questions! First, Speed."
After Luke had taught me almost every card game he knew, he had to leave. "Bye, Lukey," I chuckled. He stuck his tongue out at me and I started to imagine all the dirty things he could do with that tongue. Why, Michael, why? Okay, so maybe I had a little crush on him, but that was all it was.
