a/n: I'm so excited this fic has over 500 reads now yay! I also want to suggest reading Better Than Me if you're not already, because once both of these have over 500, I'm going to start publishing Amnesia [Michael Clifford]. So there's always that. Enjoy!

"Come on, Michael!" Jamie yelled. We were picking him up so we could go out to party, and our moms probably weren't okay with it, but we were going anyway. Michael's mom seemed fine with it, which surprised me greatly, since he had a major disease, didn't he? Maybe partying had no affect on it.

"Michael, hurry up, we'll be late."

Michael came out of his room looking sexy as hell in only dark skinny jeans and a tee shirt, I had no idea why it excited me so much, but it did. His hair was swept down over his face as usual, and he just looked so perfect.

I was so whipped for him.

"We can't be late, it's a party with no real events," Michael pointed out and got into the front seat of the car. "If anyone asks, you're both over 18. Jamie, they'll probably believe you."

"Hey, what about me?"

He shrugged. "Maybe."

"So you have your license?" Jamie asked.

"Yeah, I'm 16, why not?"

"My parents wouldn't let me get mine. They said driving is too dangerous for a teenager."

"I live for danger," he said. At the time, we didn't know what he meant.

I was totally used to this environment, I was in it all the time before I met Michael, or his ghost. Of course, I couldn't say the same for Michael or Jamie. Jamie had to slap several guys in the face, and Michael was scared to death.

"Here, have a drink, it'll calm you down," I offered, then realized alcohol might be bad for him. "Wait, can you have alcohol?"

"If you mean legally, no, I'm only 16."

"I don't mean legally. Do you think anything at this party is legal?"

"No... it would calm me down?"

"Well, it would make you less scared, probably, but there's also the chance that you'll get really drunk." I laughed at the memories.

Michael looked at the drink, back up at me, and back down. "Okay."

I handed him the cup, then offered my hand. "Wanna dance?"

He blushed, which was the cutest thing ever. I loved his crush on me. "I don't see anyone else dancing."

"So what? We'll be the first."

He nodded. "As soon as I finish this drink."

Michael

I didn't know whether the alcohol would be good for me or not. He said it would calm me down, and I wasn't sure that was a good thing for me, but I accepted it anyway.

The only reason I was here was that my mom thought it would help me, otherwise she wouldn't have let me go. I needed excitement, and maybe this was exciting. I couldn't tell because I had been sitting in the corner the whole time. So I agreed to dance with Luke.

Maybe he was just being nice, because I thought he was straight, but this was fine by me. We danced vigorously at the loud music, but then Say Something by Another World featuring Christina Aguilera came on and I didn't know what to do.
