Chapter 6: Sonic's Parents Part 3
(A.K.A. The Grown Ups are back in town Part tres: Now they appear!)
Station Square Hotel, 25 minutes later
Sonic, Amy, and Chuck arrived at the Station Square Hotel. The hotel was a little busy because the city's football team, the Chaos, were currently playing, hosting the Metropolis Kings in week 2 of the Sega Football League, Mobius' version of the NFL. The Kings were up 21-7.
"I forgot the Chaos were on." Sonic said.
They walked into the elevator.
"Which floor, Unc?"
"3."
Sonic hit the button and the elevator dinged, acknowledging its ascent. Within 30 seconds, they were standing in front of the door.
Chuck opened the door, standing in front of a shaking Sonic, who had Amy standing behind him, holding his hand.
"Jules, Charles is back." Bernie said.
"Charles, did you find our son?"
"Yes, I did."
"How is he?"
"Why don't you ask him yourself?" Chuck moved to reveal Sonic.
"H-hi, Mom... Dad." Sonic was frozen. He was actually standing in front of his parents.
There was silence for 15 seconds.
"My Son!" Bernie ran and hugged Sonic.
Amy moved next to Chuck.
Jules soon joined the hug.
Bernie then noticed Amy.
"Sonic, who is this?" She asked.
"This is-"
"I'm Amy, Amy Rose." Amy shook Bernie's hand.
"Nice to meet you, Amy. What's your acquaintance with my son?"
"Well, I'm his-"
"She's my finance and the mother of our soon to be future child."
Bernie froze, then death hugged Sonic again.
"My son's getting married, and I'm going to be a grandmother!"
The group talked for about 2 hours before Sonic and Amy headed home.
