Let us begin , so at this time last year I was 7 kilos less than my weight right now . And seriously I want my old weight back . But I sometimes twonder what happened . With all seriousness I lost and gained the same amount of weight , literally the same 7 kilos and sometimes 8 kilos , three times in a span of two years . In a horrible cycle of weight loss and starting to love my self to weight gain and self doubt and hate . But now is the time where I research even more to find a way to stop this horrible cycle . My bmi right now is 25.7 which is overweight . My goal now is to simply return to the normal range . Which isn't so far away . I am not asking myself like before to lose 20 kilos , which was insane . My mindset was horrible and I was going to lead myself to a horrible way . But thankfully I am more mature now .
Over the past year I would get into the mood of lifting muscles, because as everyone say it is most sustainable way for weight loss . But I always overdo it . I will do it daily with one hour of cardio and then I will stop after a week . One of my biggest problems is that I love a challenge but most of the times I can't handle it .
Second thing I do wrong is that I hate dieting for me it is something for a short amount of time and after it everyday would be a free day . And suddenly I am like why did I gain all the weight back , well I always knew why. So firstly even after dieting you need to restrict food .
There are also some habits that believe I have been trying to stick to for more than three years now . Only a few I succeeded to stick to :
1. Eating slowly
I am the type of person who gets bored easily . And eating slowly is so boring to me . I'd prefer not to eat than eat slowly . And I love eating so much so I couldn't stick to this habit for more than a day .2. Drinking water first thing in the morning and before meals .
Okay I love water so much . I love the feeling of being hydrated . It makes me feel fresh . So I succeeded in sticking to this habit for so long now .3. No food before going to bed.
you must eat your last big meal of the day at least 2 to 3 hours before going to bed. And, if you are awake 'till late in the night and you can't sleep and 4 to 5 hours have passed after you ate your last big meal, then you can have a little snack before bedtime. But I couldn't stick to it . I can't control when I want to eat . But I don't like eating really heavy meals before going to bed . But your girl loves eating sweet stuff before going to bed . I can't control my cravings . What if my mood is horrible and I need food . I just couldn't stick to it .
