Epilogue

Develyn's POV

Nagising ako sa isang puting kwarto.

"Where am I?" Tanong ko sa hangin at tumayo.

"Hi..." Rinig kong bati ng isang nilalang. Nakita ko si Adrian na nakatayo sa may gilid ko, hindi ko siya napansin.

"Hello, nasa langit na ba ako?" Tanong ko. Ngumiti naman siya at tumango.

"You did it. Congrats." Tipid ang ngiting sabi niya.

Half of my heart is happy...but the half of it, stays on Blaize.

"Everything will be fine Develyn." Sabi niya at iginiya ako papasok sa isang malaking golden gate.

"I know, Adrian. Thank you." Ngiti lang ang ginawa niya.

"Once you enter, you will forget everything..." Sabi niya.

Nakaramdam ako ng lungkot sa sinabi niya. "I may forget you...but you will stay in my heart Blaize. I love you..." Bulong ko sa hangin bago pumikit at tuluyang pumasok sa golden gate.

My memories were like a video, played from the very start, until my last kiss with Blaize. As I opened my eyes, I feel no worries, no pain, no misses. Just peace.

And...

I don't remember anything.

Third Person's POV

Days had passed... tears still last. It's been a week since she left... and the feelings makes him weak.

Beer after beer, cry after cry, pain after pain.

Miserable, the only word that describes him now.

The memories with her...is the best and yet the worst.

It pains and it joys, as he remember their kisses.

Nothing can ease the pain, even the beer doesn't do about it.

It's just a week...a hell week without her. But how about the months? The years? The decades without her? Will he survive?

He don't think so...

"Kuya, please tama na 'yan, pwede mo naman siyang puntahan sa Canada eh." Zia said to her brother.

Blaize chuckled bitterly before drinking the beer.

"Kung nasa Canada lang siya eh...sumama na sana ako dakaniya." He uttered frustrately.

"What do you mean?" Zia asked while frowning. Tumawa si Blaize at umiling iling.

"Oh kuya... kung may problema ka, o kayo ni ate Develyn...sabihin mo samin, we are family right?" Tanong ni Zia.

Hindi naman umimik si Blaize, bumuga lang ng usok. Napabuntong hininga naman si Zia.

"Kuya...I already cooked you dinner. Kumain ka na lang ha? I have many things to do pa... bye kuya." Paalam ni Zia tapos ay lumabas na ng unit niya.

I love you...

Hindi na naman mapigilang umiyak ni Blaize dahil naalala ang tatlong salitang sinabi ni Develyn.

Kinuha niya ang phone niya at pinagmasdan ang larawan ni Develyn doon.

"H-Honey...what will I do? I can't let you go." Umiiyak na tanong ni Blaize dito, na para bang sasagot ang dalaga.

Sa kakaiyak ay hindi na niya namalayang nakatulog na siya.

Every day that the God has made, his routine's always like this. Her sister will visit him, his friends, he will drink, he will smoke... then he will sleep at night because of crying too much. Without eating.

Air is the only reason now why he is still living.

He never thought that love can be cruel... he even thinks of following Develyn in the other world. But his promises for her keeping him for not doing it.

He is still holding on the thought that one day she will be back for him. Make family with him, make happy memories wiith him.

From the day she left him, 'till now, the hope, doesn't change a bit. Maybe it's the magic of true love.

Or must be the too much pain.

What ever it is...everything happens for a reason. Every consequences came from descisions.

You will never know the true value of a moment, until it becomes a memory...
