Third POV
Elizabeth woke up to shouting and shuffling across the marble tiles.

" captain, you have to calm down please!" Diane shouted at the drunken blonde who was bumping into things with out a single thought as to where he is.

"D-Diane? Meliodas? What's going on and is he drunk?" Elizabeth Asked, snapping out of her sleepy trance.

Meliodas turned his head and for a split second he saw his ex girlfriend as a mirror image of Elizabeth.

" Liz, why are you here? I thought I said you were exiled." Meliodas grunted as he got out of Diane' grasp.

" Meliodas, you should lie down so that you don't feel worse." Elizabeth said in a rush.

Meliodas squinted as he said " you are one to talk get out of my house!"

Elizabeth paused in her tracks.

" captain, that's Elizabeth not Liz." Diane spoke.

It was at that moment Elizabeth realized that it was most likely 1:00 in the morning.

Elizabeth then turned to Diane who had purple eye bags, it looked like she had been up the entire time.

" Diane. Rest. I'll take care of Meliodas, trust me." Elizabeth talked.

Diane was unsure at first but she realized that she was tired and she could trust Elizabeth.

Soon, Elizabeth took over as she led him to her room.

" Liz, let go of me, I hate you." Meliodas squirmed in Elizabeth grasp acting like an uncomfortable 3 year old.

Elizabeth only rolled her eyes as they continued on.

They soon arrived to the room as Elizabeth plopped Meliodas on his bed.

She had just then noticed he was still in a suit and tie.

" will you be able to change by yourself?" Elizabeth Asked, standing upright.

But seeing the way he was, it was hard to believe that he knew what he was sitting on.

She then went to his dresser and grabbed a large shirt and some shorts.

Slowly, she removed his top, revealing his muscles, ignoring it she put on his new shirt.

She took a deep breath as she removed his pants and man, he was huge.

" hmm I wonder is he 8 inches or what if he's a foot?!?" Elizabeth screamed in her brain.

Her checks flushed red in embarrassment for thinking about those stuff.

She then continued on, as she put on his shorts.

That was then when she had seen that he had passed out.. or so she thought.

Tucking him in, she had a strange urge to kiss his forehead, so she did so, brushing back his blonde bangs, she kissed him slightly.

Turning around to leave she felt a warm hand hold her right hand.

She turned back to see Meliodas's flushed face, as she heard his voice except it wasn't his usual strict, harsh tone it was replaced by a soft and embarrassed one, one she'd never thought she would see.

" e-Elizabeth.. please don't go stay with me." Meliodas Asked shyly, although his eyes were closed, his hand was firmly yet softly on Elizabeth's.

As moment's glanced he seemed vulnerable, the softness in the stone cold body portrayed everyday.

And to Elizabeth, this vulnerability reminded him of herself.

" it's ok.. I won't leave, I'll be right by you." Elizabeth muttered softly.

Elizabeth sat on the small portion on the edge of the bed.

Meliodas then moved his head to her lap, shocking her.

Unconsciously she brushed his blonde locks, with silence taking over the room.

Naturally the individuals hated the deafening silence, but strangely it felt nice.

Elizabeth paused as she felt a pang in her heart.

" what's this feeling? It's so warm, warmer than anything I've ever felt..." Elizabeth spoke silently to herself.

It wasn't long before she and meliodas was fully asleep.

TIMESKIP~ 7am

Diane, who had just woken up had realized that Elizabeth hadn't came back out.

Fearing the worse she rushed to Meliodas's room, but upon opening the door she saw that Elizabeth wa in the bed, sleeping peacefully some how Elizabeth was fully covered in blankets while shower water was running.

She then left the room, closing the door silently.

Light breaths came from Elizabeth as shower water stopped abruptly.

Out came Meliodas with a bath towel around his waist.

Getting his stuff prepared he turned to Elizabeth.

" what have you done to me? You're killing me, Liones and there's no stopping it.." Meliodas thought in his head as he watched her take occasional breaths.

It wasn't long when Elizabeth woke up, as she saw Meliodas putting on his jacket.

" oh good morning, M-Meliodas." Elizabeth yawned as earlier this morning flooded through her mind.

" morning, Elizabeth, get to your room and get ready I'm dropping you off at work." Meliodas spoke

Elizabeth nodded as she got out of his bed and walked out of his room to hers.

She had taken a shower, putting on her light blue scrubs.

She walked out into the living room to find Diane gone but in her place stood Meliodas who was using his phone.

" I-I'm ready." Elizabeth stuttered.

Meliodas looked up at her then back down as he said " let's move."

And in no time Elizabeth was back at work.

Unlocking her side of the door, Meliodas locked it quickly.

" uh the door?" Elizabeth pointed.

" look, about earlier this morning, you are to forget everything understood? And if you tell a single soul you can guarantee that the last thing you see is my gun, is that clear!" Meliodas said harshly than ever.

Elizabeth paused, feeling slightly scared but strangly hurt.

" crystal." Elizabeth replied, as she then got out of the car.

Meliodas looked at her retreating figure, her hands grabbed onto her shoulders as if she was shaken up.

it was harsh but he knew that he couldn't be any better, he didn't want to get hurt again, so he placed his heart in a barricade, not wanting to get any closer to someone other than a subordinate.

" I can't risk getting closer to you." Meliodas spoke out loud to himself, as he saw Elizabeth's body vanish in her workplace.

He then drove off as the words echoed through his brain " I can't risk it."
