Third POV

" so Elizabeth is pregnant and she didn't tell you?" Merlin asked.

" no, if I had known I would have had 3 guards with her and have her fly in my private jet." Meliodas replied

Soon meliodas tried to call her.

But in return he got a text.

It read:

"Hey meliodas, there's no easy way to say this but I have to leave you, I'm not going to New York and there never was a wedding for me to go to, things came up and I had to leave but don't take it as I don't love you, I actually really do and I always will, well I should go now so just know that I love you.. p.s don't ever try to contact me again, otherwise I will just ignore it."

And that was it.

" well it seems that we've have a mission now." Merlin said deep in thought.

Meliodas then called Diane.

"Yes captain?" Diane's voice echoed

" yeah send out a missing persons report on bases in possibly New York." Meliodas spoke.

" May I know the name, last seen and why?" Diane questioned

" Elizabeth liones, airport and she lied about going to a wedding and she practically gone now." Meliodas rolled his eyes.

" ok... wait Elizabeth? Why would she leave  I thought she loved you too much to leave?" Diane said shocked

As meliodas replied Diane was completely stunned.

" wow... I didn't know that she would be the type of person to do that..." Diane spoke quietly.

Silence was on the other end.

" ok, I've sent out, bases 8 and 13 have given me the signal that they've gotten it." Diane examined

" alright." Meliodas nodded as the line was then cut.

Soon Merlin left as it was just meliodas and his thought.

" I thought you were different... I really did." Meliodas thought to himself.

As he continued on with his thoughts on Elizabeth and only Elizabeth.

The next morning, with Elizabeth~

She had finally touched down in L.A.

" anyways Elizabeth it was nice talking to you." Krystal smiled

" you too." Elizabeth replied as she then got off the plane.

Elizabeth had a whole plan, after landing she would get a taxi to drive to her new place (payment helped by Liz, through Zeldris ) get settled in then find a job.

Easy peasy.

When's she arrived to her new apartment, she found a whole ton of boxes.

Why? Well she had been secretly been ordering stuff from work, mainly plain white stuff cause she didn't know what exactly the baby was gonna be, not to mention furniture.

So one by one she lugged the stuff in.

Afterwards she took a shower and got dress and with her resume and qualifications in hand she decided to head out and look for a job.

She came across a local clinic with a sign saying "help wanted."

When she entered she noticed a lot of people in he waiting room labeled " patients."

Then she turned to another side of the waiting room labeled "job wanters."

There was only 4 people.

"Well this shouldn't take long..." Elizabeth shrugged as she took a seat.

She then got a text from Diane.

It read:

"Hey Elizabeth, I heard you left."

Elizabeth replied, as a small conversation started

That's when Diane asked

" are you actually pregnant?"

That's when Elizabeth went inactive, But then came back and replied with:

"Yes how'd you know and does meliodas know (oh god I hope he doesn't know)"

Quickly thinking Diane decided to say that meliodas didn't know.

" no he doesn't, miss Merlin told me to tell him that but if you wanted it to be a secret then I won't tell him."

Elizabeth sighed in relief.

" ok good, and can you never tell him that we ever had this conversation, please?"

Diane felt guilty from keeping a secret from meliodas, but if she told him she would lose Elizabeth's trust possibly forever.

"Ok but one condition... you come back after he baby is born."

Elizabeth smiled to herself then replied.

" I promise, and until the let's keep contact, K?"

Diane only replied with a thumbs up.

"Elizabeth?" The person in front called

Well now it was time for Elizabeth to shine.
