Third POV

It was the middle of the night probably around 10:30, as both Elizabeth and Elaine were soundly asleep on the couch.

And that's when Ban and Meliodas walked in to the room.

And with a subtle tap on the girls  they woke up.

" huh? Oh hey Babe, is it nighttime already?" Elaine yawned as both she and Elizabeth stood up groggily.

" thanks Elaine for watching Elizabeth." Meliodas spoke.

" anytime captain, Ban you know what to do." Elaine replied.

And just like that ban heaved her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes as she got comfy on him.

Picking up her stuff, Ban and Elaine were out of the house.

And soon Meliodas and Elizabeth walked to his room to get a good night's rest.

Timeskip 7:30 am.

It was now morning time, as both Meliodas and Elizabeth were awake.

" so, how was yesterday?" Meliodas asked.

Elizabeth was silent for a moment trying to collect her thoughts.

" for the most part it was alright however..." Elizabeth hesitated

Meliodas made a face.

Elizabeth sighed " when we were driving home I saw mael driving towards us and following us until we had reached the home."

" I guess he probably figured out where you were but how would he possibly know this place cause he couldn't have immediately known where you are..." Meliodas pondered.

" well... maybe he works with someone, maybe someone who knows this place?" Elizabeth suggested

" well everyone that I've invited I trust with my life, so I really-" Meliodas paused, remembering when he had an uninvited guest .

And his face frowned, slowly turning into something more deep and sinister.

" so the bastard thinks he can threaten me and get away with it doesn't he? I guess two can play at that game.." Meliodas smirked before he got up.

" um Meliodas... are you ok?" Elizabeth asked

Meliodas grinned but his whole aura and tone didn't sound like he was happy " I'm just peachy."

Walking to his fully charged phone Meliodas called Ban.

B: hello?
M: hey Ban, I need you to do something for me.
B: I don't like this creepy tone of yours, but sure what is it?
M: you know the coordinates of zeldris's estate, right?, imma need you to eradicate it, by any means necessary don't leave a single soul alive there... and while your at it bring mael.

B: wow, you want me to take your men and eradicate your brother?
M: well your my hitman right? Then do it.

B: copy that sir, I will have mael with you in a little while.

End of call~

Meliodas turned to Elizabeth who was staring at him with an unreadable expression.

He wasn't surprised that she was stunned, after all wouldn't you be if you heard your lover order a hitman to kill their brother? Yes? Just what I thought.

" anyways I'm going to get ready." Meliodas spoke to Elizabeth .

She only nodded keeping her eyes on him.

In Elizabeth's head~

" why am I so stunned? I mean I already know what he did for a living... so why?"

Elizabeth has furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

" is just his tone? The way he's calm and collective? Or is it that he knows that that's the road he had to go on?"

Her 'brows softened, and she had somewhat of a reluctance smile.

" it's none of that... it's just the way he is.."

Real world~

" y'know Elizabeth if you keep staring at me like that I can do that to you too... during it.." Meliodas smirked

" it's like I said, In your dreams." Elizabeth playfully rolled her eyes.

And just then she felt herself being lifted by Meliodas.

" well then in that case my dreams have became reality." Meliodas spoke as he and Elizabeth made their way into the bathroom.

After a "wonderful" time in the shower, Meliodas and Elizabeth got dressed, as Meliodas got a call from Ban.

B: hey cap'n the mission was a success and I've got mael or estarossa or whatever the fuck he calls himself nowadays, what would you like me to do with him?

M: you always are 100% that's why you are my right hand man, bring him to warehouse B-60.
B: thanks for the comps, cap'n, see you in a little while.

End of call~

" well I guess this whole fiasco will be over shortly." Elizabeth spoke happily.

" of course it will, and then we get to go on a voyage." Meliodas replied as he kissed Elizabeth on the forehead.

" well then I have to get going to the warehouse, reasons you know why." Meliodas said.

" wait... please take me with you.." Elizabeth muttered

" Elizabeth I can't, besides I don't want you to get traumatized." Meliodas sighed.

" puh-leeze! The only traumatizing thing around me is is you and I'm still fine.." Elizabeth protested.

" wow.. I actually felt something there, but it's still a no." Meliodas replied.

" please, pretty please with a cherry on top?" Elizabeth pleaded.

" *sigh* fine, but don't answer any questions he asks ok?" Meliodas spoke as he rubbed his temples.

" I won't, and trust me you won't regret it!" Elizabeth answered

" oh believe me I already am.." Meliodas said in his thoughts.

And so, just like that they left the house driving to warehouse B-60.
