Third POV

When Elizabeth woke up it was 8:20, so why not get a 10 minute head start on the day?

She got ready, putting on dark green scrubs, she headed downstairs to be greeted by someone.

By someone, I mean Liz.

No but seriously, how the heck did she get in???

" oh um hello." Elizabeth waved, confused to say the least.

" hi, we met earlier but I didn't get your name, I'm Liz, meliodas's friend." Liz smiled as she helped out a hand.

" I'm Elizabeth, nice to meet you Liz, not trying to be rude in anyway, but you are here because?" Elizabeth shook Liz's hand.

" I'm here for meliodas, because I wanted to talk to him, and I'll wait if he's busy." Liz explained

" I see, well if you need anything I'll be in the kitchen." Elizabeth nodded, as she then walked away.

" actually do you think you could keep me company, since I don't want to use my phone, low battery." Liz shrugged

" sure." Elizabeth replied taking a seat next to Liz.

" this might be easier than I thought." Liz whispered to herself.

Soon meliodas came downstairs, and he was stunned to see Liz sitting in the living, talking to Elizabeth.

Could things get any worse.

" morning meliodas, I didn't know you had someone here, she so nice." Liz spoke cheerfully.

A bit too cheerfully.

" Anyways I wanted to talk to you, privately." Liz said, clearly giving Elizabeth a hint that she should begone.

" I'll be in the kitchen getting something to eat." Elizabeth spoke, as she then walked away.

Not even giving Liz a chance to speak meliodas moved closer to her and stared at her angrily.

" what exactly are you trying to play?" Meliodas demanded.

" nothing, I just wanted to talk, and I didn't know you had a new girlfriend, I just thought you were alone, once I was gone." Liz smirked as she wrapped her arms around him.

" if you're trying to seduce me, stop, otherwise I will shoot you." Meliodas glared, as he brushed her arms off him.

" y'know you don't have to be so uptight, besides, imma give a best bet on how long this small fling of yours is gonna last, I say a month tops." Liz grinned.

" are you done? If you are get out of my house." Meliodas, rolled his eyes.

" yep, that's all bye meliodas." Liz waved as she then left.

2 minutes later Elizabeth walked in, with  toast in hand.

" where's Liz?" Elizabeth asked, looking around.

" she had to go, did you let her in?" Meliodas asked

Elizabeth face turned concerned a bit as she then said " no, she was here when I came downstairs."

" why is there something wrong?" Elizabeth questioned

" no, it's nothing, are you ready to go?" Meliodas brushed it off for the sake of Elizabeth.

" yep, let's go." Elizabeth smiled

And so they did.

Timeskip while driving~

Nearing Elizabeth work, Elizabeth remembered yesterday night.

" hey meliodas, I wanna know something." Elizabeth spoke.

" which would be?" Meliodas questioned, taking a quick glance at her.

" yesterday when you came home, you looked, I don't know how to say it but distressed I guess, so are you ok?" Elizabeth blurted out, staring at him.

" oh that?" Meliodas started with " I was ok, I was just feeling tired cause I have a bunch of things to do today."

" oh I see, well see you this evening, bye babe." Elizabeth nodded, before she gave him a quick peck on the cheek and left the car.

Meliodas watched her walk off before he finally headed to work.

As he only thought " I should tell her sooner or later."

After all now that Liz was back in the scene it was only a matter of time before things would be spilled.
