Third POV
It was now time for meliodas to do his usual route thing, starting a month ago... disturbing Elizabeth.Saying sayonara to his boring and dull office, and off to a place of happy people and happy thoughts.
" off to disturb Elizabeth, captain?" Diane asked as she walked by him.
" yep." Meliodas replied with a smirk on his face.
" try not to tease her so much, ok?" Diane warmed playfully
" haha, I'll try." Meliodas laughed before he had left the building.
Getting into his car he left to do what he knows best.
With Elizabeth
Elizabeth was busy wrapping up in her station, putting away unused items.
" hey, elizabeth, nice seeing you here!" Someone called out.
At first thought she thought it was meliodas considering that he would always come at this time to disturb her.
" leave me alone, you damned demon!" Elizabeth called out to the person
" well I can come back another time if you'd like." The person replied sheepishly
Elizabeth then turned around, seeing that it wasn't meliodas, it was mael.
" oh my! I'm so sorry about that mael! I thought you were someone else! Do you you need something?" Elizabeth said frantically
" well it seems that this person gets on your nerves a lot... anyways I wanted to invite you to come out to lunch with me if you want to, of course." Mael replied
" oh I'd love to b-but I don't really have money with me at the moment so I c-couldn't possibly." Elizabeth stuttered, suddenly shy and self conscious.
" no worries it's on me, so how 'bout it?" Mael smiled
" well it is rude to turn down an offer.. so sure." Elizabeth half smiled
" well then, let's go shall we?" Mael spoke.
Elizabeth nodded as she and him left the room, leaving the building to get something to eat.
Back to meliodas~
Meliodas was only 2 minutes away from Elizabeth's workplace, as he saw a tall white building in the distance.Stopping at a traffic light, he stared out his side of the window as he watch cars on the other lane zoom by.
However one car in particular caught his eye, the driver seemed to one of melidoas's hard workers known as mael.
But that wasn't what caught his eye it was the person sitting next to mael, meliodas had caught a glimpse of long whitish/ silvery hair, thanks to mael relaxing in his seat making it clear to see the person next to him.
" is that...? Nah, probably not." Meliodas shrugged, as he pressed on the accelerator when the light turned green.
It wasn't long before he had entered the office, as the first step he did was to go up to Merlin who was talking with the lady in the sign in desk.
"Merlin!" Meliodas called to her.
Merlin turned around, seeing the all too familiar blonde.
" captain. I presume that you are here for Elizabeth?" Merlin asked, as she folded her arms.
Meliodas nodded.
" well you aren't going to find her here that's for sure, she went out with mael to have lunch together." Merlin pointed out.
Meliodas's eyebrows knitted together in slight anger.
" that little b*tch, she probably knew I was coming so she need an excuse not to see me, especially after what happened this morning.." Meliodas grumbled in thought.
" if you are wondering where they went, then that I can't tell you, I'm sorry." Merlin apologized before she walked away.
" well I guess I'll just have to wait for her to come back then." Meliodas spoke out loud to himself as he walked to Elizabeth's usual room.
With Elizabeth~
Elizabeth and mael made it to a small cafe, it wasn't to fancy but it wasn't plain either, it was perfect. As they took a seat a waitress came by ready to take their order.
" well come to Anne's cafe, I'm Callie, I'll be your waitress for today, so what would you guys like?" Callie asked enthusiastically.
" could I get some Greek salad pasta, and some ice water, please?" Elizabeth asked, as she put down her menu.
" ok, and you sir?" Callie replied, as she wrote the food down on her notepad.
" could I get the crispy chicken wraps, and some water as well." Mael requested, as he himself put his menu down.
" of course, it will be coming shortly." Callie said as she walked away.
" so Elizabeth, tell me about yourself." Mael asked.
Elizabeth fumbled a bit with her hair as she spoke.
" well I was born here, I'm 23 and I am pretty average for the most part.. I'm not exactly interesting." Elizabeth said shyly.
" it's a-okay, I'm 24 and I'm pretty sure I'm just as average as you are." Mael chuckled
And so a conversation sprung between the two, and for once Elizabeth felt happy she was talking to a guy like this, after all she had never met someone this nice, not to mention all that they had in common, like her love for books and his love for books.
They eventually ate their food, as mael payed before they went back to work.
Timeskip back at work.
Elizabeth was walking back to her room after thanking mael for lunch.
She had walked into the room feeling happy when she had just seen the spawn of satan sitting right there on the patient bed, staring intimidatingly at her.
" m-Meliodas, I d-." Elizabeth was cut off by Meliodas walking toward her.
" so, who told you that you could do whatever the f*ck you want to do? Hmm, please enlighten me with your knowledge, cause I sure as hell don't remember letting you." Meliodas grinned.
However this Grin wasn't a pleasant one at all.
" well uh he k-kinda I-invited me so I t-thought-" Elizabeth stuttered, only to stop by a loud smack on table.
" I'm sorry, who do you listen to? Me, the person who literally owns your life, or someone you just met?!" Meliodas shouted.
Meliodas sighed in anger as he then said " the next time you decide that you are gonna pull another stupid stunt like this again, you can guarantee that we both won't be happy campers."
He pushed her to the side as he walked out of the room and disappeared out into the hallway.
