ACT I [INT. / GENERATOR ROOM / MID-DAY]
Umeme, Radi, and Friska are witnessing the wreckage dealt to part of the generator room, the same pile of debris that buried the two speedsters alive. While they're doing so, Doc is busy using his arm -- switched to vacuum mode -- to collect scattered pieces of the Hamerkop Nightmare's husk after Radi curled up and kicked it away.
Friska: I still can't believe such a little creature's capable of this much damage.
Radi: Same here, Friska. But something tells me that hamerkop was only the tip of the iceberg.
Umeme: If that's the case, I think it's about time we take care of this problem by the source. Ready to head back to that ziggurat, Radi?
Radi: Hell yeah! [floats up] I've been meaning to give whoever's inside a little "welcoming gift".
The eager speedsters prepare to rocket away over to the xenos ziggurat; however...
Friska: Hold it!
Umeme and Radi stop immediately in place before they were about to speed off, with Radi falling flat on his face.
Friska: [sternly points at the pile of debris] And just who exactly has to clean up this mess?
Umeme & Radi: Uhhh...
Doc: [walks over to the three, holding the husk pieces within the canister of the vacuum] That is not all. Several different sections of the lab have been severely damaged, in case you two were unaware.
Umeme: [Radi gets back up] W-wait, what about your Maintenance Droids? Don't they usually handle clean-up?
Doc: Only a small few of them are fully functional. As for the majority...
The scene cuts over to the same storage room that was destroyed previously. Due to one of the purple lightning bolts Umeme and Radi dodged, all the robots inside have been reduced to scorched scrap metal. Looks like maintenance is in need of its own maintenance.
Friska: Yep -- that's plenty o' salt to the wound. Guys, you're the ones who brought that... "thing" here in the first place. We were way too unprepared, and look what happened.
Umeme & Radi: [one scratches his head, the other crosses his arms -- but neither disprove her point]...
Friska: (sighs) But since we obviously have bigger problems, I guess I can let it slide.
Radi: Wait, for real?
Umeme: Hey, great! So if we head off now, we migh-
Friska: For one of you, of course.
Umeme: ... Say whuh now?
Friska: It's only fair that one of you stays here to help us clean up the lab. The other can head off to help out Terra.
Radi: One of us huh? Well Umeme, [pats Umeme on the shoulder] I see you got your work cut out for ya', so I'll just-
Umeme: Really dude? You're the one who gave that hamerkop your electro, and you don't feel a little responsible for this?
Radi: C'mon, that was Self Defense 101! Don't go pinning me for that!
Friska: Look -- I don't care who, so just decide somehow. Okay?
Radi: ... W-
Friska: And hopefully not in the form of a race this time?
Radi: I wasn't gonna say that.
