                EMERALD feels intimidated with Chloe’s presence on that room. Wandering kung bakit biglang nagbago ang isang nagbagong si Chloe Andrada. She looks very far away different from the old her even the original her. She’s now a monster, a real monster to be afraid and avoid. Pero mas gusto na ito ng mga umi-idolo sa kanya. She’s a spectacular icon of every teenagers at lahat tinitingala siya sa campus. She had already retrieved her popularity, even higher now than before.

                As Chloe pass by on her front dahil labasan nila ay pinasadahan lang siya nito ng tingin. Fierce and indignation was on her eyes.

                “Hey!” She called, annoyed but distant.

Chloe turn around.

                “Why?” Mahina niyang sabi, trying not to pick a fight.

                “Is it for good? Or baka naman kapag may nakilala ka na naman ay magbago ka naman.” Her voice is different; calm, rasping but confident and there’s a little bit of concern.

                Chloe felt that.

                “Bakit mo naman natanong Emerald?”

                “Because I like you that way. The Chloe I idolize before... more better now. I’m just glad you’re back.” Pagpapakumbaba na ba ‘yon? Surrendering in the war where she’s the leader of legion?

                Hindi alam ng dalaga kung papaano magre-react sa mga sinabi ni Emerald. She’s protecting herself na baka paraan lang ‘to ni Emerald para pabagsakan siya muli kaya naman gumuhit sa kanyang mukha ang pag-aalala.

                “Don’t worry, this time it’s for good. Am may I say again, I’m still the Queen B, right? Queen Bitch?”

                “Right,” yumuko pa si Emerald and so that’s it. She surrendered everything to the original princess of bitches.

               

                “HI.” Kiming wika ni Xavier as he approach Chloe under that tree. Busy siya sa paggawa ng sketch para sa susunod na fashion show. Her final show, she guesses.

                “Hello.” Sagot niya without looking the guy.

                “I’m X-Xavier.” Naupo ito sa kanyang tabi at doon pa lang siya tiningnan ng dalaga.

                Gwapo siya... nasabi na lang ni Chloe sa sarili pero ganoon lang.

                “Sigurado naman akong alam mo na pangalan ko kaya hindi ko na sasabihin pa.” Binalingan niya  muli ang kanyang ginagawa.

                “Ah... yeah. Look, hindi naman talaga ako nag-aaral dito and that’s obvious. Twenty-one year guy looking for a date  tonight and I would like—“

                “No.” Sagot niya kahit hindi pa tapos sa sasabihin si Xavier.

                “Hah? Pero—“

                “I said no.” Medyo tumaas ang kanyang tinig dahil ayaw na niya sa makukulit.

                “Please? Chloe?”
