I pray that we could be something
Extraordinary and lovely,
But I have a feeling
That you don't want that with me.
I fear I've done too much
To annoy you and push you away
And even if you say it's you,
In the end, it'll be me.
The unanswered texts, the silence
Is killing me ever so slowly,
And it seems like you don't care
Or you don't want to care.I doubt your love now,
How you'd be there for me,
Even if you were busy,
But when I need it you're never there.
You're past the point of no return,
In my mind, and I'll be no thought
To you for the rest of your life.I must have messed up somehow,
And I want to fix it,
But the lack of words means
You don't want me to.
This is how it has to be, I guess,
With no other communication
Beyond a "hello".
But I want more, I want you,
And that is our undoing.
