This is the most difficult thing to do.
To let you go and grow
In a new environment.
I encouraged it, I still do,
But I'll miss you dearly.
I love you and I want the best
For you, even if I'm not there.
I want you to thrive and rise up
From the ashes of your past,
Of your mind and everything else,
So you can be wholly you.
And when you come back,
I can't wait to see who you are
And how you've evolved.
