Alexandra's POV

We finished our food and drink, Elijah paid and we left the restaurant. I leaned against a wall close to it and fumbled around with my box, I was a bit past tipsy at this stage. I groaned when the box wasn't listening to me and would open.

"allow me" Eljiah stood directly in front of me as he gently took the packet from my hands, he pulled out the cylindrical tube and placed it in between my parted lips, I don't think I was breathing at all at this point.

His gaze studied me while I just handed him the lighter, with care he lit it and brought it to the end of the cigarette allowed it to burn off the edges. I inhaled to keep it lit, he didn't move away, he just stood there, his intense gaze focused on my lip movements. I continued to smoke as he lifted his hand up to brush against my cheek, he tucked a loose bit of hair behind my ear gently. My heart was going ninety, I was glad I had a fag to keep me reletavily calm.

Taking another pull and looking up at him I could see the conflict in his eyes, he seemed to have made up his mind quickly as he leaned in and his lips connected with mine. His hand caressed my cheek as His lips moved against mine slowly while I stood there unmoving, there was smoke still in my lungs and I knew I had to blow it out, placing my hands on his chest I pushed him away before breathing out.

He frowned before leaning in again, this time he didn't kiss me, he only spoke in the same deadly calm voice he used with the waiter, "You will not remember this, I helped you light your cigarette and we continued walking" his pupil weirdly dilated

I just stood there, a bit confused "Elijah? I don't think I drank that much to be forgetting anything" his eyes widened at this, I frowned before pushing off the wall.

I continued walking, leaving him behind, it didn't take him long to catch up to me, he attempted to put his arm around my waist again but I shook my head and stepped to the side "Don't touch me okay?" I said in a fierce voice or at least that's what I hopped it was.

"Alexandra I do apologise, I didn't mean it like that" he frowned as he continued to observe my face.

"it's Alex!" I snapped, "didnt mean it like what Elijah? You got me to drink, brought me out for a nice dinner, where of course we drank more, you kiss me and then decide I'd forget?" it sounds mental! Did you really think I'd just listen to your words and magically forget?" I went on a bit of a rant but he had no right.

"getting you drunk was never my intention Alexand- Alex, I only wished to spend some time with you" he took a step closer "I have no excuse for my behaviour, please, forgive me?" he said as if it was that simple.

I sighed "Just go Elijah okay? Just go."

He seemed to have realised he lost the argument and turned on his heel to leave but not before saying "I'm sorry Alex, I'll make it up to you"

I was left by a restraunt I've never seen before tonight and no clue which way to go home, I sat on the curb and lit another fag, putting my head in my hands I groaned. Why do I always end up getting myself into a messy situation. Elijah was 90% of the female populations dream, why couldn't he chat any of them up? He always makes everything so deep, he seems to care but then he kisses me and probably thought I rejected him so he decides I'll forget because I drank? I was confused and had no clue what was going on.

I picked up my phone and rang Ric "Al? Are you okay?" he answered almost immediately.

"yeah Ric I'm fine I'm just outside this restaurant, The Mystic Melody and I'm not sure how to get home, would u have time to come get me?" I asked

"sure ill be there in, 10" he answered before hanging up. I sat there, waiting, at least it wasn't too cold.
