I was perfectly content just lying there but I could tell Elijah got lost in his own thoughts, he seemed tense and it looked like whatever it was, it was worrying him. I leaned my head up and glanced at him "What's wrong Elijah?" I inquired.

"It's nothing" he dismissed and smiled.

I sat up in bed, frowning "That's not fair Elijah, I want to be here for you too okay, you can trust me"

He sighed "i do trust you" he assured holding my hands in his "it's family drama and I don't want you to be mixed up in it, it usually ends badly for everyone involved"

"Your brother already involved me when he turned me into a vampire" I stated bluntly.

"I'm worried about our mother, she says she wants us to be a family and that she has forgiven Klaus but she's sneaking around doing privacy spells and wished to speak to Elena last night who lied to me when I asked what it was about" he explained.

"Maybe she has good intentions" I tried to comfort him "but I do think it's weird how she forgave Klaus so quickly, her behaviour with Elena also seems dodgy" I admitted.

"I think so too, I'll confront elena about it today" he decided, getting up from the bed he walked towards his wardrobe and got changed into his usual suit before walking around the other side of the bed and offering me his hand to pull me up. His eyes trailed down my body clad in his shirt "did I mention how good you look in my clothes" he licked his lips, smirking at me his voice full of sin.

I rolled my eyes and hit his shoulder gently, trying to act as if his words didn't affect me, he chuckled at my attempt "I'll send Rebecca up with some clothes for you, that is if she's back" he walked towards the door "if not I guess you'll be stuck here with me until she is wearing this and I make no promises about my own control" he winked playfully and left.

I was happy to see another side of Elijah, there was no doubt he could be as mischievous as his brothers, the serious, courteous suit clad Elijah wasn't his only side. It wasn't long till there was a knock on the door and Rebecca stuck her head in.

"Come on down to my room and we'll pick something out for you to wear" she offered swinging the door opened for me to follow which I did.

Unfortunately we happened to cross paths with Klaus and Kol. "Nice legs" Kol commented with a smirk while Klaus only sniggered as I turned red.

"Don't be an ass Kol" Rebecca roller her eyes at him.

"I suggest you divert your gaze from any part of Alexandra's Body unless you'd like to loose the benefit of sight." Elijah calmly threaten from the bottom of the stairs.

"Calm down brother, I'm only admiring" he shrugged making his way down the stairs with Klaus and out of sight.

"Don't mind him" Rebecca advised.

We walked into her room and I wasn't surprised she had a walk in closet. "So where did you run off to last night" I asked suggestively as we settled down to look through some clothes.

Rebecca refused to look me in the eye as she found the buttons on a pair of jeans particularly interesting. "I was with someone" she shrugged

"Matt? The one Kol tried to eat yesterday?" I pushed for details.

"No, I wish" she sighed, fishing out a simple pair of light blue ripped jeans. "Damon" she admitted after a while of silence.
