I was sitting down in the kitchen, Damon just dropped up my daily three blood bags. "How long so I have to sit around here?" I asked impatient

"Well that depends when u plan on going on another killing spree" he smiled sarcastically

"Damon, when is someone going to teach me?" I snapped

"Well actually, I've taking some precautions and I'm trying to get someone very special to help you now I'll go talk to him and you sit tight" he smirked grabbing his phone off the table and leaving.

Someone special? What does that even mean? I was going mad in this house, there was nothing for me to do I tried to distract myself by rewatching all the Harry Potter movies one by one. There was a knock on the door, I frowned nobody else was home so I got up to open it.

Elijah.

He stood right in front of me, my breath caught in my throat. I stood there staring at him, he smiled slightly and took a step forward to walk into the house. I took a step back trying to keep as much space between us as possible. This continued until we were both inside, he turned to close the door before all his attention was focused back on me.

"What do you want" I asked cautiously.

"Damon pulled the dagger out of my heart, he also filled me in on your struggle to control you blood lust I only wish to help Alexandra." He spoke calmly.

I took a step closer to him "I don't want your help Elijah" I hissed at him

"Alexandra I assure you I have helped many young vampires with this issue already. I will help you control it, I give you my word" he urged me to see reason.

"I don't care even if you're the best person to help me, your word means nothing to me. You haven't upheld it so far why should I trust you now." I scoffed.

"It was never my intention to leave you again, you need to understand my brother has betrayed me" he argued his case.

"Your brother is a psycho who made me kill people all summer, you brother can never be trusted this doesn't change the fact that you failed me again. I was the one hurt Elijah. I'm a fucking vampire because your brother wanted to play some sick sacrificial game and decided I'd be an interesting victim since his older brother pretends to have an interest in me" I spat out at him all in one breath.

I suddenly found myself pressed up against a wall, Elijah had both my hands trapped under one of his above my head while his other hand reached up to my face "I know I failed, I know I hurt you, unintentionally but I did, I'm sorry and I'll make it up to you. But let me be clear, any interest or care I have ever shown you was true, I didn't pretend to have an interest in you Alexandra. I am going insane with my need to protect you to keep you happy and the burning hatred I have for my own brother, just because he kept me away from you is unbelievable." He raised his voice as he tried to make me see reason, his eyes staring intently into my own.

"I don't know what you expect me to do Elijah, you've been dead for the past 6 months, in those months I've went through hell okay, I killed so many people, I had no one elijah, no one. I'm not the same person anymore" a tear made it's way down my cheek but Elijah wiped it away with his thumb, pulling me in for a hug and kissing the top on my head .

"It's okay, I got you. I'll help you control yourself, I promise." He whispers into my ear. He pulls away from me "but for now I've a dress for you in my car I'd like you to wear it tonight and come with Damon and Stefan okay?" He looked me in the eye to make sure I understood.

I nodded, he went to leave to get the dress so I stood there, not sure if I could ever fully trust this man, I always fall into the Sticky web of his diplomatic words. He gave me the dress and turned to leave with a smile "Elijah wait" I called out
