Alexandra's POV

I woke up feeling odd, i was on the ground in the forest, everything around me was bright, I could see fire blazing, and a body beside me.

"Jenna" I shook her when I realised who it was Elena kneeled down beside me, she suddenly gasped awake.

"they're in transition" an unfamiliar dark skinned woman smiled evily.

Jenna and I shared a look, does that mean... By the look on elenas face I knew the answer.

"oh my head, what's wrong with me" jenna groaned.

"I feel it too" I sighed

Elena asked us what we rembered and we both explained. "where are we? What happened?" jenna asked looking around.

"we're at the Quarry" Elena explained "he brought us here"

"why don't I remember anything?" Jenna frowned.

I had a feeling I knew what happened.

"Jenna, do you remember, when I told you how someone becomes a vampire?" Elena asked gently.

"yes if you die with vampire blood in your system... Oh god" she realised what I was suspecting. "he killed us."

"Listen guys everything is going to be okay, I'm going to get you out of here" Elena tried to calm jenna down.

"so we're vampires?" I asked.

"and I bet you're hungry" the dark skinned girl inputted as she walked towards us. Elena tried to run at her but she was thrown back, a ring of fire appeared around her. "I've spelled the circle, you're trapped, no matter what you do"

"Greta, please just let them go" Elena begged but Greta ignored her and slit her wrist with a rock.

"drink it" she held her wrist up to Jennas face.

"Jenna don't, let her go"

"I can't" jennas eyes started to go red and veins appeared. She latched onto the wrist with oth her teeth, drinking

"that's enough" Greta pulled her wrist away before she turned to me, "your go." she smirked.

Staring at the wrist I could feel my eyes changing, it made me so hungry as if I couldn't control myself, all I could think about was the sweet smell of blood it was overpowering. I grabbed her wrist and bit down, sucking as much blood as I could and it felt wonderful better than anything I could describe.

Elijah's POV

Stefan, Alaric and I walked over to the witch house. "elenas death will activate his dormant werewolf side, he'll be vulnerable during the transformation, that's when Bonnie comes in"

"and you're sure Bonnie will survive this?" Stefan asked again.

"if she can deliver him to the brink of death, I'll finish the job myself" I ensured, determined.

Stafans phone rang, it was Damon, Klaus had Jenna and Alexandra. What I felt at that moment was undescribable. My own brother found out I had an interest in the girl and now he's using it against me. I left her vulnerable to him and now she's the one that'll pay the price. I would never forgive myself if he so much as touches a hair on her head.

Alexandra's POV

Greta made another ring of fire around me and jenna. Elena was pacing in her one "how do you both feel?"

"I feel like myself but not myself" Jenna answered.

"everything is brighter" I added. "the fires hotter"
