I couldn't believe it, I was just about to loose him again, for good this time. "No, no, no, no, no" I mumbled " this can't be happening Ric" I didn't know what to do, my vision got blurry from the tears but Ric wrapped his arms around me, trying to calm me down.

"As much as I'd love to see Klaus dead, Elijah doesn't deserve this Al, maybe you should ring him and tell him if he doesn't already know" Ric offered and I was grateful, he understood that Elijah was important to me. "I'm gonna head out to meet Meredith at the Grill, give me a call if you need anything" Alaric have me privacy to speak to Elijah.

I grabbed my phone and quickly clicked Elijah's number, "come on, pick up, pick up." I paced around the sitting room when he finally answered "Elijah! You were right! You need to be careful, the link, your mother." I couldn't even make sense of what I was saying.

"Sweetheart Calm down, take a few deep breaths and try again okay?" Elijahs calm voice sounded from the other end and I did as he said.

"I spoke to Ric, you were right about your mother, she linked you, and now she wants to kill you all" I explained.

"Yes, I've spoken to Elena and I'm already working on it okay, you don't worry about a thing" he reassured.

"Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Just stay out of trouble and don't leave the apartment, it will all be over soon, I promise"

"But I'll go insane sitting around here" I complained

"it's too dangerous. Please Alexandra, for me, I need to know you're safe, I'll make it up to you later okay" he convinced me.

"Okay fine but please be careful Elijah, I don't know what I'd do if your mother was successful." I really didn't know what I'd do, I already felt dependant on him, but it was probably only until I learnt how to feed on my own without hurting anyone.

"Don't worry, I won't let anyone else take me away from you again" he promised

"You better not" I tried to sound threatening but obviously failed.

I could hear him chuckle "I'll see you soon Alexandra" he hung up the phone.

I sat there for a few minutes and decided to indulge in a fag, not wanting to leave the apartment, I smoked it out my bedroom window. Before sitting down and starting to rewatch all the Harry Potter movies from the start, which was like 20hrs long so I knew it would keep me busy, I only hoped Elijah would be done by then.

I don't know when but I ended up falling asleep, there was a knock on the door, it woke me up. I checked my phone, it was 11pm and I had a text from Alaric saying he'll be staying at Elena's tonight and that he heard everything ended well. This gave me hope, there was another knock on the door, well it definitely wasn't Alaric forgetting his keys so who? I hoped it was Elijah.

I walked up to the door and looked out through the peephole, it was indeed Elijah. I opened the door as fast as I could and threw myself at him. "I'm glad you're okay"

"Me too darling, now we need to have a chat" he announced as we both walked into the sitting room.

"So what happened?" I asked.

"I interrogated elena and then left Her with Rebekah, I went to the Salvatores and threatened to kill Elena if they don't break my mothers link to the Bennett bloodline. The Salvatore brothers turned Bonnies mother into a vampire and my mother didn't have enough power to kill us, but there was something she said that made me think Alexandra." He explained.
