Harry Potter sighed, at the awkward feeling he gave to his fellow students, in the boys' dormitory. Being raised a muggle at first made him furious, but he soon wished he would have a normal life sometimes.
Trying to defeat Voldemort all the time, was getting him worried and stressed out. People were counting on him, and he just couldn't disappoint them, they needed him.
He yearned for the same life minus Voldemort. Then again sometimes Muggle technology could be interesting, and fun. Like all those computer games Dudley had.
Wizards and witches also didn't have the same interesting technology he once got to experience, before the sudden change of his life. Becoming a wizard, finding out about you-know-who could be very life-changing to a young man of his stature.
It was also getting hard to explain certain Muggle items to his friends. Muggle-borns had an easier time understanding, but they'd rather talk about their time here or magic.
Harry was surrounded by his fellow Gryffindor students, they just looked very confused at him,"Mate, what's-a Tea Vee?" Ron said.
"I'm going out for a walk.."Harry said, while grabbing his wand and walking outside the room.
He walked in the cold, snow and looked at his path.
Harry was grateful for his life, grateful so many people gave their life for him, but he was young. Too many people have done this for him already, and he felt a burden on his shoulders, he needed to defeat Lord Voldemort.
As he thought all this he bumped into (Name).
(Name) was a girl who was being harassed by Malfoy, until Harry put a stopped to it. Malfoy kept pestering her about being a 'mudblood'. Eventually Harry saw the scene of the crime as it happened, and dueled Malfoy. After that Harry started to feel very red for her. She was a kind, (Enter House), and after that she was always their for him.
They hung-out whenever they weren't busy, well...when Harry wasn't busy. They had a strong connection. She was a muggle-born, so they had some memories they would share. He walked over to her and began to talk to her,"Hello (Name)."
She was wearing her hogwart's robe, with her (f/c) scarf, with one glove on. She was sitting on the ground reading Hogwarts a History. "Greetings, Harry. Why are you here outside?" She held a book to her side, and adjusted her scarf.
"I should be asking you that."
"Oh. I'm here, because I like the snow, and I want to embrace this feeling."
"Really? I never really liked the snow. I just ignored it...erm...So..you like the snow?"
She shrugged at him,"Well, my parents used to move a lot, and I spent most of my life in southern California. It was always a decent temperature, never snowed, unless you went to the mountains."
"I see. Didn't you say your family was rich?"
"Yeah, I suppose, my father had a great busness going on, so we were pretty well-off.I got to enjoy some muggle technology...Why are you asking?"
"Well you see.."
(Name) and Harry talked about it, and they felt more connected than ever. Eventually it got dark and (Name) had to leave to study. Harry didn't want to see her go, but he felt happy and pure enjoyment for once.
Harry wished he could have confessed his unknown, unsure feelings to (Name). Even if it would be last time he talked to her.
He waved her goodbye, feeling better about everything and the upcoming war. It was people like (Name), who gave him hope that he would be able to save the wizarding world. It was people like her, who believe that he was more powerful than Voldemort. She was innocent, but had a lot of heart.
It was people like her, who no matter what had happened, gave others out there, down on their luck and ready to give up, glorious hope, even in the darkest of times.
Harry walked back to his room, where most of the boys were gone. He looked outside, and was almost ready.
