(Sokka's pov)
I've been standing guard at this door the guards call the 'cooler'. It was literally a cooler room. I know that cold temperatures has never bothered me but this does. It was below freezing. Suddenly I heard footsteps. It was the warden.
"The warden is coming." The guard that bullied the prisoner Chit Sang responded.
We stood at attention when the warden approached us. He order us to open the door. He looked at the prisoner with disgust.
"Fire bending is not allowed in my prison Chit Sang. You should know this by now!" The warden spat.
Chit Sang didn't comment. Instead he continued shivering from the cold. After an hour past I was on break. I was in a watch tower that over looked the prisoners.
"Pss Sokka it's me Zuko." Zuko whispered to me.
I turned around to see a familiar scar
on a teenager's face."Did you find anything?" I asked.
"No I asked some of the guards if they keep prisoners of war and royals. Everyone said no. I'm sorry Sokka." Zuko looked at me with defeat.
"No! We came all this way for nothing. I failed... again." I was frustrated.
"What would Uncle say?" Zuko looked up at the clouds.
"Sometimes, clouds have two sides, a dark and light, and a silver lining in between. Its like a silver sandwich! So when life seems hard, take a bite out of the silver sandwich!"
As he was talking something caught my eye. It was a girl. A girl I recognize... Suki.
"Maybe we havent failed after all!" I pointed to were Suki was at.
"Now that's the spirit! I can't believe that worked, I didn't even know what I was saying." Zuko smiled.
"No, what you said didn't make sense at all. But look! It's Suki!" I commented.
Zuko gave me a confused look. He probably doesn't recognize her without her Kyoshi warrior makeup.
"It's Suki the leader of the Kyoshi Warriors. You know the girls that wear the makeup and fight with those fans.." I explain.
"Oh yeah I remember, wait didn't I burned down their village a few months ago?" Zuko asked.
"Yeah but they rebuilt it quickly."
"She might know where your sister might be." I explained as I flip the visors of my helmet down.
"Come on let's go find her."
(Suki's pov)
I was sitting in my cell with my cell mates Azula and Ty Lee. I was in deep though about what I think of my new cell mates. I hate being in this cell with the Princess. She tortured and tormented me to get information. I remembered crying after the torture sessions. But now I am forced to the live with her because of Ty Lee. Speaking of Ty Lee, she was the complete opposite of her friend. She is nice and caring, me and her quickly became friends, but Ty Lee begged us to not kill each. But what's the point, there was no hope. Azula was right. Sokka wasn't
gonna come and rescue me.My train of thought was broken by the sound of the door creaking open. I turned around to see another guard.
"Oh great let me guess your here to torture us?" Azula asked.
"You mean you don't recognized me?" The guard asked.
"You all look the same." I replied.
"She is right, you guys are look the same." Ty Lee said to the guard.
"Well then maybe you might recognize this." The guard while doing a kissing face.
I grabbed the guard's face and push him to the wall. When he hit the wall his helmet came off. I recognized that face all to well. It was Sokka.
"Sokka, it's you!" I ran up to hug him.
Tears was forming in my eye. I couldn't believe it. Maybe Azula was wrong and luck was on my side today.
"Well looks like I was wrong." Azula interpreted.
"Hi Sokka!" Ty Lee waved at him.
"What happen to the other warriors?" Sokka asked.
"I don't know. They locked me up in here because I'm the leader." I explained.
"Well you three won't be in here for long. Me, my friends are gonna bust you out." Sokka explained.
"I'm so glad to see you Sokka. I knew you'd come." I stared at him as our lips collided with each other.
"Hey peasant, mind making out some other time." Azula ruined the moment.
"Ugh I honestly don't know why Zuko wants to rescue you?" Sokka glared at the Princess.
"Wait, my brother is here?" Azula was shocked.
"Yeah and the Avatar." Sokka explained.
"Wait I must forgetting someone else. Ugh great I forgot someone's name. Dammit it's so simple as well." Sokka was struggling with who the other rescuer was.
(Meanwhile with Zuko)
Zuko was standing outside of Suki's cell. He had was paying attention until he saw a girl coming his way.
"I come to speak to the prisoner." The guard commanded.
"You can't. The um... lights are out. The prisoner can attack you." Zuko was making up excuses to give Sokka some time.
The girl chuckled. The guard flip the visors up to reveal Mai wearing a guard uniform.
"Mai? What the fuck are you doing here. I thought you would be distracting the Dai Li?!" Zuko was confused.
"Let's just say he bored the fuck out of me and needed to shut up." Mai explained.
Mai was getting sick and tired of listening to this Dai Li talk. She decided that it was time to drop the act.
"So I should believe you by your word, but clearly haven't brought any evidence to show proof of your mission. We Dai Li now work for the Fire Nation but still work with our own customs of how we assassinate our enemies. So until you bring back any evidence, your mission is incomplete." The Dai Li explained in a boring tone.
"YOU WANT FUCKING EVIDENCE! I'LL SHOW YOU SOME EVIDENCE RIGHT NOW!" Mai screamed as she jump on him and tackled him to the ground.
"WHAT THE FUCK. I COMMAND YOU TO STOP!" The Dai Li ordered.
"Sorry bitch not gonna work this time." Mai as she pressed a pressure point.
The agent collapsed in a second. Mai was glad Ty Lee taught her pressure points. Who knew it would actually come in handy.
But there was no time to lose. She went in the clothing room and swapped the Dai Li agent's robes with a prisoner outfit. Mai also changed into some prison guard armor. She then threw the unconscious agent in a cell and went off to find Zuko.
