"Wait," Said Lu Ten.
"Not now your mysterious girlfriend over here is hiding something," Azula protested.
"We can do that later. Look," Said Lu as he pointed to a big glowing red jewel.
"It's a celestial calendar. Just like the Fire Sages have in their temples. I bet that Sun Stone opens the door, but only when sunlight hits it at just the right angle, on the solstice," Zuko explained
"Monkey feathers! The solstice again? We can't wait here that long." Said the Avatar as he looked unhappy.
"No we can't." Said Zuko as he unsheathes his broadsword and lays it in the path of the red beam, "but we might be able to speed time up. Let's see if we can outsmart the Sun Stone."
"Not a bad idea Zuzu but I don't think it's gonna work," Said Azula.
"Quiet. Azula I'm trying to focus." Said Zuko. He attempts to adjust his sword. The beam of light starts moving shakily across the doors and successfully hits the Sun Stone.
"Nothing's happening." Said the Avatar.
"Shush let him concentrate." Tia commanded.
Zuko was holding his sword in place, "Come on..."
Suddenly the ground starts to shake a little as the doors star to automatically open.
"Huh I guess it did work," said Azula as she looked dumbfounded.
"You know, Zuko, I don't care what everyone else says about you, you're pretty smart," Aang said as he picked up his staff
Zuko smiled as the group walked inside. Aang looked around and squinted his eyes. He notice a statue with an angry face, the Avatar helped in surprise.
"Relax. They're just statues." Zuko reassures
"Woah what is this place?" Azula asked
"Looks like some religious place." Lu Ten answered as he looked at the statues
Aang who scratches his head began to read the description at the foot of one of the statue, "It says this is something called The Dancing Dragon."
He laid his staff against the statue, and took a step-back and imitates the crane-posture of the statue.
Suddenly a pressure plate sinks under his feet as he does so. Aang takes a step off the plate to observe it and the plate moves back into position. He looks around at the remaining statues.
"Zuko, get over here. I want you to dance with me."
"What?"
"Just do it."
Zuko and Aang went to two statues on each side.
"Let's follow the steps of the statues."
Both of them stepped on the first plate and moved on to the next. Zuko's boot stepped on the second pressure plate which caught him by surprise.
"Don't you see? These aren't dance moves. These statues are giving us a lesson." Said Aang as he and Zuko move in synchronization. He began to say, "I think this is some kind of Sun Warrior firebending form.
Azula looked at Zuko moving along the line of statues and imitating their poses.
"What the fuck are they doing?"
"This better teach us some really good firebending." Zuko shout out to Aang.
Aang who was doing the same 2 moves got into a position with his arms stretched forward. On the final step Aang moved his torso to the right with his fists out-stretch and Zuko doing the same thing. A sound echoes in the room and a hole appears in the centre of the room and everyone turn to look at it. A pedestal with a golden egg-like object started ascending from the hole and glints in the light.
"Hurray! Wait. What exactly is that?" Aang asked.
"It's some kind of mystical gem stone." Zuko answered as he walked towards it.
"Well, don't touch it!" Aang shouted as he stared raises his arms as a warning.
Zuko stoped in his tracks
"Why not?" Zuko asked.
"Remember what happened out there with those spikes! I'm just very suspicious of giant, glowing gems sitting on pedestals." Aang explained.
"Zuko please listen to Aang." Lu Ten commanded.
Zuko ignores then and was about to remove the gem stone off the pedestal before Tia grabbed Lu Ten's sword and pointed the blade at Zuko.
"GET AWAY FROM IT YOU STUPID FIRE NATION IMPERIALIST!" Tia shouted with a voice of rage.
"Imperialist?" Zuko looked confused.
Zuko backed away slowly but accidentally hit the gem. The gem started to wobble until Aang used his airbending to make it stay still.
Suddenly green goo started to flood the room.
"Oh, no, it's another trap!" Aang shouted.
More green goo starts to flow from the pedestal and Aang backs away cautiously but his foot got caught in the sticky goo. Suddenly more arose and pushed up towards a hole with bars.
After a minute everyone got stuck in the goo.
