I heard the noise of someone crying the next morning. I pulled myself up, to see Niall sitting on the edge of the bed, sobbing. He's starting to scare me. He's always crying, and I don't know what to do, "N-Niall...?" I whispered. Niall turned around when he saw me, "S-Sorry," he mumbled, as he wiped away the tears. He pulled himself up then walked out of the room. I sighed and headed towards my dresser.

I pulled out something warm to change into, since snow still lay on the ground.

Her body lay in the snow. Blood matting her light brown hair. Dying in your arms.

I closed my eyes, pushing away the scary thoughts. I grabbed my jumper out of my dresser and a pair of leggings. I decided to just wear something warm and comfortable today. I grabbed some warm boots and my beanie. I threw together the outfit and put on a little makeup. I was about to go wake the kids up, when I heard a loud crash.

My eyes widened and I ran out of the bathroom and towards the direction of the noise. I saw that the door to Bethany's room was cracked open. I quickly pulled the door open and ran in. I saw that Niall was crouched on the floor. The remains of a lamp lay shattered on the floor, surrounding Niall.

I ran over to Niall's side, to see that he was sobbing, "N-Niall!" I exclaimed. I noticed that his fists were pressed against a pile of broken glass. That has to hurt. I quickly tried to pull his fists off of the shards, but they wouldn't budge, "N-Niall, you're hurting your hands!" I exclaimed.

"This isn't anything," Niall mumbled under his breath, "Bethany was shot in the head. I can only imagine how horribly painful that must've been. And, I couldn't even move an old man's fist... I couldn't even save my own daughter!"

Niall started sobbing, and I didn't know what to do. I really don't know how to deal with Niall. I keep telling him that Bethany will wake up soon, but no one believes me. I don't know what to say anymore.

Niall's posture weakened, so I pulled his hands away from the glass. I held the palm of his hand up, so I could see the damage. Small cuts covered his palms, so now his hand was smeared with his own blood.

I pulled Niall up to his feet, "Come on, Niall. Let's bandage your hands," I quietly said, slipping my hand into his. Niall was still crying, as I led him towards our bathroom. Niall leaned against the wall behind him.

I grabbed the roll of gauze from the first aid kit and walked back over to Niall. I took his hand in mine and began wrapping gauze around it. Niall remained silent, as I concentrated on his hand. Finally, he spoke up, "I-I feel like I killed her."

"No one killed her," I whispered, as I finished wrapping his first hand, starting on the next one. Niall sighed, "You know, this way of dealing with her death is good and bad. Good, because you aren't killing yourself. Bad, because it's eventually going to lead to something. You're eventually going to break."

"I'm fine," I whispered. Niall sighed again and let me wrap his hand, "Does her death replay in your mind...?" Niall whispered, trailing off at the end. I froze for a moment, thinking of the dream I had yesterday. I continued wrapping his hand and nodded, "Yeah, it does."

I finished wrapping Niall's hand, so I set the gauze back in the first aid kit. Niall looked at me with watery eyes, "M-Me, too," He said, letting a few tears fall. I wrapped my arms around Niall, pulling him into a hug. I felt Niall's arms wrap around me, hugging me back, "I-It's so hard..." he whispered, repeating the words Aislinn said about the paparazzi. I thought about how much media attention there would be. It's going to be scary. They will want to know everything about the gun shot.

"Niall, can we visit Bethany today?" I asked Niall, as I pulled away from him. Niall shook his head sadly, "I'm sorry, but we can't. Bethany's body was taken to a funeral home today. They are getting her prepared for her funeral."
