Another month has passed by, and it's mid-October. Niall had turned 24, and soon I was turning 21. The kids are three months old, and soon will be four months. It's so shocking to see them grow up so fast.
Niall and I were in our bedroom, with the kids. I was folding laundry, as he played with the kids. Addy was sitting up, as Aedan sat in his dad's lap. Addy was clapping her hands and making baby noises and she tried to speak to her daddy.
"Addy, come to Daddy!" Niall exclaimed, as he beckoned for her to come over to him. I frowned as I folded our clothes, "Niall, babies don't start moving until around six to eight months."
"Well, can't I give her some early encouragement?" Niall asked. I rolled my eyes and let Niall continue his weirdness. I continued to do work, as Niall tried to get Addy to crawl. Instead of crawling, Addy fell onto her back. Niall laughed as she started squirming around awkwardly. Suddenly, instead of crawling, Addy rolled over, "Oh my God!" Niall exclaimed, "Nicole, Addy rolled over, she actually rolled over! This is amazing! We have to get this on film or something! Addy roll over again!"
Niall pulled out his phone, and before he was filming, Addy rolled back over to her back. Niall now had his camera rolling, "Okay, Addy, roll over!" Niall exclaimed. She just stared up at the ceiling, unmoving. Niall groaned, "Come on, Addy! You were rolling over a second ago! Just one more time for Daddy!"
Niall kept begging Addy to roll over for another two minutes, with no success. I decided to intervene. I sat down on the floor next to Addy and turned her over, "See Niall, she rolled over!" I exclaimed. Niall rolled his eyes, "Nice, Nicole," he mumbled sarcastically. I giggled and picked Addy up. I looked at my daughter, "Are you camera shy, Addy?" I joked as she began talking in her own language, "Daddy is just putting too much pressure on you!"
"We have to get the whole family in this shot!" Niall yelled and scooted over to my side, with Aedan in his arms. He put the camera in front of us, "Okay, family introduction! This is Aedan, this is his twin sister, Addy, and then here is my beautiful wife, Nicole."
Niall kissed my cheek and then ended the video. I laughed, "Well, that video didn't turn out as you planned, correct?"
"Hey, it was better," he joked. Niall set Aedan on the floor, so he was sitting, and then Niall stood up. He headed towards the closet and searched through for some clothes, "I was planning on going to the gym today, if that's okay with you."
"Well, I'm fine with that, but can I come?" I asked. Niall looked at me confused, "Wait, you actually want to go to the gym? You actually want to work out?"
"Well, I need to work off these extra baby pounds," I replied, pointing to my stomach. Niall chuckled, "Nicole, you are skinny enough, you don't have to work off anything, you are fine."
"Please?" I begged, staring at him with big eyes. Niall sighed, giving in to my demands, "Fine, but we now have to find a babysitter for the day."
"We can just ask Liam and Aislinn, I don't think they're busy, and they are the closest to our house," I replied. Niall nodded, agreeing with the idea. He went over to the closest, and pulled out some sweats and a T-shirt to change into, "I'll call Liam!" I called, as he changed. I heard him say something in reply, but it was muffled by the T-shirt he was throwing over his chest.
I grabbed my phone off of the nightstand and pulled up Liam's contact. I pressed call and placed my phone against my ear, "Hey Liam, I was just wondering if you and Aislinn could babysit the twins today."
"Yeah, that's fine. You can just bring them over whenever you're ready," Liam replied, "I guess I'll talk to you later, bye."
"Bye," I replied and hung up the phone. I set in back on the bed, and at that moment, Niall walked back into the room, "So, can they babysit?" he curiously asked. I nodded, "Yeah they can. I'm going to get dressed."
