Chapter 29

*Marie's P.O.V.*

"Harry, I'm bored," I complained, as I sat on his lap, messing with the ends of his curls. We had just gotten back from the movie theater and were now sitting in our apartment, bored out of our minds.

Harry kissed my nose, "Well, then, what do you want to do, babe?" he asked. I looked around the room, to see there was nothing to do, "Harry, I don't know, you pick something out."

"Okay," he replied, pulling me off his lap, so he could get up. I watched as he walked to the other room. I shifted my position on the couch, so I was more comfortable. Within about a minute, Harry walked back into the room. He stood in the doorway and held up a box which read 'Twister' on the front.

I grinned and hopped off the couch. I ran over to Harry's side and jumped on his back, "To the living room!" I yelled, as Harry gave me a piggyback ride to the living room. He set me down, and began to set up the game, "Who's going to spin?" I asked. Harry shrugged, "Whoever is closest to the spinner."

"Okay, let's go!" I exclaimed. Harry spun for me, "Okay, right foot green," he said, as I followed his instructions. I took the spinner from his hand and spun for him, "Okay, Harry, you have right hand red."

"Left hand yellow," Harry announced for me.

"Right foot red," I told him. Soon, we had a full-fledged twister game going. Harry was practically on top of me, and I was currently in between his legs. We were laughing like maniacs, as the game continued.

"Right hand green!" I yelled at Harry, and he groaned. Someone he managed to put his hand in the correct circle. I waited for Harry to yell out the next command, but I heard nothing, "Harry, come on my legs are hurting!" I whined.

"Hold on, I have an important question to ask you," Harry said, as he was still over top of me. I groaned, "Come on, Harry! Do you have to ask it now?"

"Yes I do!" he exclaimed, and I watched as he started to pull out something from his pocket. I couldn't pick out what it was, but then Harry looked between his legs, so he could see me. I laughed, as his hair hung upside down and he made this awkward face. He held out the object in his hand and opened it up. It was a ring.

"Marie Aliya Coleman, ever since the day I laid eyes on you, I fell deeply in love with you. We've had our ups and downs, but we always end up realizing that everybody makes mistakes. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So, Marie, the love of my life, will you marry me?"

My eyes widened and I immediately fell over, knocking Harry down, too. I immediately sat up and looked over at Harry who was anxiously anticipating my answer. I felt my head starting to spin. No, not now. No, I can't tell him now.

I felt the tears coming. I never wanted to tell him, but I can't keep hiding everything, "H-Harry... you can't marry me," I whispered. I looked up at Harry's eyes and he looked like he was just stabbed in the heart. It broke my heart, "W-Why?" he whispered.

"B-Because I'm a liar," I stuttered out, before I ran away. The tears were streaming down my face, I couldn't contain them anymore. I tried so hard, but now everything was crashing down, and I couldn't keep that happy smile on my face.

I ran out of the apartment. If I don't tell him, I won't be able to come live with Harry again. I won't be able to be his girlfriend. Is it all worth it?

I felt my feet hit the hard concrete as I ran away from our apartment. I down the road, hoping that somehow this would help me escape all my problems. I'll just keep running until the scenery becomes unknown and my mind clears up.
